New traffic laws are now in effect in MD, including the Sgt. Patrick Kepp Act. Driving 30 mph or more over the posted speed limit now qualifies as reckless driving. That can mean up to 60 days in jail, a fine of up to $1,000, and 6 points on your MD driver’s license. #MCPD
