As part of the @wfeo Member Highlight of the Day series, we also want to feature initiatives that strengthen engineers and engineering ecosystems. Today’s highlight is the Engineering Capacity Building for Africa Programme (ECBAP), a flagship initiative led by the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) to strengthen engineering capacity across Africa. ECBAP supports African countries in developing localized, engineering-driven, and scalable solutions to major sustainable development challenges. The programme has also been officially endorsed as part of a Programme of the @UN International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD).
