@WasabiStables
WV Stables is a program that gives ANYONE an introduction to horse racing membership, from individual foals to horses of racing age to breeding thoroughbreds.

Almost a decade ago, I started @WasabiStables . Candidly, when it all started it was a heavy "TK Show". It was my childhood dream to do this. It was me trying to satisfy something I always wanted to do. Because @Ms_PeKu is an amazing wife, she let me chase that dream. She really didn't understand it or even know what it meant. My family came along for that early journey and let me jump off the bridge. A decade later, this is 100% a family affair now. Michele is vital to every aspect of Wasabi Ventures Stables. All four kids understand that this is a legacy effort for themselves and their families. They are not only true believers, the family is integrated to all of our efforts. As much, at the end of last year and after discussions with Michele, we decided to make a change in our silks. We wanted to show that this is not a TK Show, but a family affair. I am terrible at design, so switching from the old silks on a design basis was not hard! Our new design, which involved the quarterbacking work of Michele and the input of our whole family, trainers, and staff, is meant to be one that can become classic. We think it tells a story of where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. We hope to be debuting the new silks at the @keeneland spring meet and in a winner's circle soon.

Excited to announce that our @WasabiStables and @WasabiStallions owned Itgetsgreaterlater is one of a trio of mares to first be checked in foal to Locked @Gainesway thoroughbreddailynews.com/trio-of-mares-…

Let’s call a spade a spade: every stallion is going to have “nice” foals. The only thing that matters long-term is if they go on to win big races. But it sure does build excitement for Prince of Monaco’s future to see so many well built foals continue to develop like this one 🤞🏼 📸 Dell Hancock

Good morning and happy Friday, all! Today, at @LaurelPark, @WasabiStables have a debut run for a homebred gelding in Kiss the Ring. In my opinion, there is nothing more rewarding in this game than getting a homebred to race. The journey is so long and it takes a special kind of patience to be on that journey. In this case, we are 3.5 years in the making. We bought the dam of Kiss the Ring in foal to Street Boss at the November 2022 @keenelandsales . We foaled him out at Murmur Farm in Maryland. We had him Virginia certified, pre-race trained him in Ocala Florida, gave him turnout at our farm (Serendipity Springs Farm in Lexington), trained him at The Thoroughbred Center in Kentucky, and now he debuts at Laurel Park. It was a long journey! Lots of people lose interest in the ownership part of this game as they realize that there is not enough action for them. They want the rush of the race every single day and realize this game as an owner is actually the exact opposite. I am an action guy. I will self-admit that. This is why I love breeding horses and racing them. It forces me patience and understanding. It makes me a better human. Good luck to Kiss the Ring today!
