@seanhannity I think nato is a a waste of money and time. But congress needs to approve it and it won’t happen. They should vote and see position of congress. USA can say no more Ukraine but Ukraine is probably more valuable a partner than France and Spain.

The #Chargers are finalizing a blockbuster trade to acquire All-Pro EDGE Myles Garrett from the #Browns, per sources. Cleveland receives a 2026 1st-round pick, a 2027 3rd-round pick, and EDGE Kyle Kennard in return. Pending a physical, huge addition for new DC Chris O’Leary.

After mass deliberations, I'm officially closing my entire $BMNR position and going all-in on $NVO. Why? $NVO can realistically 2x from today's prices in under a month. $BMNR simply cannot do this. Sometimes you just have to follow the math. Position size: 100% Timeline: April Conviction: Unshakeable 🤡

@WasersteinSteve @MarioNawfal You threatened annexation of Greenland barely two months ago. That's something that isn't forgotten, if you wanna go down that road. It doesn't matter that you de-escalated. Nobody in Europe is letting this slide, which is why you're not getting bases or participation

🚨🇺🇸 Trump is threatening to pull the U.S. out of NATO because allies won't join his war in Iran. The problem here: NATO is a defensive alliance. Article 5, the only clause that obligates members to fight, has been triggered once, after 9/11, when America was attacked. Over 1,100 allied troops died in the war that followed. Trump has previously called those contributions inadequate. Iran didn't attack the U.S., the U.S. attacked Iran. Trump calls NATO members 'confused' about the alliance but actually he's just angry it doesn't work the way he wants it to. Source: CNN

🇶🇦🇮🇷 Iran hit a QatarEnergy tanker with a missile straight inside Qatar's own waters The Qatar gov. confirmed it in an official statement, the fuel oil tanker Aqua 1 was struck in northern Qatari territorial waters. Crew is safe, no injuries, and no environmental damage. Iran just brought the war directly to Qatar, a major U.S. ally and one of the world's largest LNG producers, and one of the countries looking for peaceful resolution of the war. Source: @qatarenergy

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump says the U.S. will hit Iranian bridges that would take "15-20 years to rebuild." Bridges are civilian infrastructure that millions of Iranians depend on daily. Destroying them doesn't weaken the IRGC. It punishes ordinary people and makes postwar reconstruction exponentially harder. And if the pattern holds, Iran will retaliate by hitting bridges somewhere in the Gulf. At what point does someone in the room ask whether these targets are ending the war or just guaranteeing the next one? Source: @Acyn
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump said Iran does not need a deal for the U.S. to end military operations: “They don’t have to make a deal with me. When we feel they’re set back long enough that they can’t build a nuclear weapon, we’ll leave whether we have a deal or not.” x.com/RapidResponse4…

Israeli Defense Minister today: “All the houses in the villages adjacent to the border in Lebanon will be demolished in accordance with the Rafah and Beit Hanoun model in Gaza.” WTF? This keeps getting worse!
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

I'm honestly very fkn upset! Israel's Defense Minister just blatantly said they will occupy 10% of Lebanon even AFTER the war, and over 600k people that have their homes there cannot return! And also today, Netanyahu is saying that after the Iran war, the Strait of Hormuz needs to be bypassed using pipelines from Saudi to the Mediterranean I'm trying to be objective on everything, but after the destruction of Gaza, recent unwarranted bombing of Syria a few days ago, and now this, I am struggling to remain objective! Israel needs to reconsider its foreign policy or the cycle of violence won't stop! You cannot occupy Lebanon and expect the Government to disarm the militia that was founded BECAUSE of Israeli occupation decades ago! You cannot bomb Syria non stop and expect the people and the Government to sit idly and normalize relations You cannot wipe out Gaza and keep occupying it, then pass a law where the death penalty applies to Palestinians and not Israelis, and expect Palestinians to not be radicalized and fight back You cannot expect to bomb Iran, then propose a pipeline that benefits you, and expect the Arab world to become allies I want Hezbollah gone. I want the Iranian regime gone. I want Palestinian radicalization gone. But this is NOT the way to do it! This is NOT the way to achieve peace in the region!

I am not sure you understand. Israel controlled southern Lebanon and left supposedly fo peaceful border and all they get is war. Lebanon does nothing or can’t against Hezbollah. Hence the attack on Iran which funds it. Give Israel real secure peace and no need for this but never happens. If Israel lays down its arms it will be annihilated and if all neighboring countries and Iran and so forth lay down their arms there is peace with Israel

My worst nightmare for Lebanon is coming true, and I am beginning to seriously question my assumption that Israel does not want to annex Lebanese territory The Defense Minister's statement today that Israel will occupy a part of Southern Lebanon after the war is inexcusable How can they expect to get rid of Hezbollah, which was founded because of Israel's occupation of Lebanon, if their goal is to occupy Lebanon again?!

Here’s a clear explanation of why Trump attacked Iran, and why I think the war will end soon. The war isn't about nuclear weapons. It's not about helping the Iranian people. It’s not about doing Israel’s bidding. And it's not about Iran being a threat to the U.S. It's about China. China imports 45-57% of its oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has the capacity to shut it down. A U.S.-aligned Iran means an Iran that would choke off that strait if there's ever a real power struggle between Washington and Beijing. And there already is one. The U.S. and China have been locked in a tariff war for over a year now. Also remember when China threatened export controls on rare earths, encompassing any company anywhere in the world that uses Chinese rare earths? Yes, China essentially said that any company that uses their rare earths (China refines 85-90% of the world’s supply) must seek their permission before exporting their products. This means if a German manufacturer uses rare earths fro China to create chips for American companies, China can block the export of these chips. That’s how much leverage China has over the U.S., and that’s dangerous, especially if China finally decides to reunify with Taiwan. So controlling the Strait of Hormuz becomes critical for the U.S. It's the same reason Trump wants China out of the Panama Canal. The same reason Venezuela matters. The same reason he's eyeing Greenland, where shipping routes to China pass through melting Arctic ice. Energy is everything now. The AI arms race is the most important strategic competition on the planet. Limiting China's access to energy is how the U.S. wins that race, and anyone who believes in freedom and democracy should want America to win. China is investing heavily in domestic energy, building nuclear reactors, solar farms, wind power. They're leapfrogging the rest of the world. But they still import the majority of their oil. And a significant chunk of it comes through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran was reportedly nearing a deal for supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles from China, which would make it easier for Iran to threaten shipping in the Strait and strike U.S. naval vessels. That accelerated the timeline. Trump's comment today about doing in Iran what he did in Venezuela makes perfect sense in this context. He wants influence over who comes next. A regime that's workable for Washington. If he succeeds, this would be a massive strategic win for the U.S. and for Trump.

Ron Paul was right. About everything.
Liam McCollum@MLiamMcCollum

“We need a new foreign policy that says we oughta mind our own business, bring our troops home, defend this country, defend our borders.” — @RonPaul in 2007 in the GOP debates Watching this debate is always so bittersweet, but it’s even worse now that the Iran war has started. Listen and remember that the GOP sided with John McCain and Mitt Romney over this guy. “We dug a hole for ourselves, and we dug a hole for our party. We’re losing elections, and we’re going down [in 2008] if we don't change it, and it has all to do with foreign policy, and we have to wake up to this fact.” As predicted, the GOP went on to lose in 2008 while Obama was pretending to be the peace candidate. Obama’s foreign policy record was Syria, Libya, Ukraine, Yemen, Iraq, killing 90% of civilians in drone strikes, etc. We had so many off-ramps. We should’ve listened.

I’m seeing some people trying to community note my post below, claiming the water plant bombed in Iran is used for nuclear research WRONG The facility struck is a 10,000 cubic meter municipal drinking water reservoir in Haftkel, Khuzestan province It was NOT used for nuclear research or for the military. It was for civilians, for the Iranian people we’re all meant to support in overthrowing the evil regime, remember? And as I explained below, I do not know why this plant was struck, something doesn’t add up And I hope Iran does not again retaliate in kind and strike the water infrastructure in the Gulf, as that would be catastrophic I urge ALL sides to focus solely on military targets before this war spirals out of control
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🚨MAJOR UPDATE: The night hasn’t even ended and we have yet another major escalation which makes no sense! The U.S. and/or Israel just struck a major water source in Western Iran As we’ve seen in recent weeks, Iran has been retaliating reciprocally This means that Iran will likely retaliate by striking a lifeline for the Gulf: Their desalination plants! Qatar get 99% of their drinking water from these plants, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait over 90% and Saudi & UAE over 50%. A destruction of these plants is existential for these countries So why put the Gulf countries at such a major risk? And to make things even more bizarre, the strike on Iran’s water facility won’t have a massive impact on the country: They have access to a lot of rivers, dams & reservoirs. This means the impact this has on Iran will be minimal, while Iran’s retaliation could cause MASSIVE damage to the Gulf So again, why was this target struck? Is the goal to hurt the Iranian people while also severely hurting American allies in the Gulf? And more importantly, who’s behind it? Who benefits from such a scenario? My bet is on Israel, and without U.S. approval. My below post explains why this is my assumption As I said time and time again, this war is not making sense in so many ways

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱 U.S.-Israeli strike hits water source in Iran's Haftgel water facility in Khuzestan province, with no casualties, and with locals still having water from backups. Cutting off water to mess with civilians? That's not winning hearts and minds; it will just hand propaganda on a silver platter to the regime. And what's more concerning? Iran has been retaliating in kind to all Israeli and American strikes, meaning they could retaliate by striking the desalination plans the Gulf depend on for almmost all their war That would be catastrophic Source: Al Jazeera

You really give Israel way too much credit. Are you saying Trump does not have a cia and his own intelligence unit and his own military advisors and his own team that he is convinced by Israel alone. Come on. Sounds pretty naive and shortsighted to me. We will all suffer a little today which is far less than the suffering with a much more powerful Iran later. Disappointed the Arab countries are not on any offense when they have the most to lose same for others.

I’m pissed! Trump gave Iran a pause on strikes against their energy infrastructure until April 6. So what did Israel do?

They bombed all three of Iran’s largest steel plants simultaneously, which are crucial to their economy And if that wasn’t enough, they also struck Iran’s Khondab heavy-water reactor facility as well as uranium production and uranium-conversion sites All on the same day Why did Israel do this? And was it in coordination with the U.S.? If it’s in coordination, it means Trump lied to Iran. If not, than Israel is lying. If you take into account the report today that JD Vance yelled at Netanyahu over the phone this week, upset at being dragged into the war by misleading intelligence, then I think you have your answer Israel seems to be trying to sabotage these negotiations, and it serves their interests to do so.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

UPDATE: I’m really struggling to call what happens next On one hand, Trump needs an off-ramp to limit the global economic damage and growing domestic political pressure Iran would also like this war to end before more cities are leveled and more leaders are killed On the other hand, Iran is doing surprisingly well controlling the Strait, striking the Gulf and Israel, and selling oil for more than twice the price than before the war, making a killing And on the American side, troops are heading to the region for what increasingly looks like a ground operation to control Hormuz Negotiations are the most promising development since February 28th. But Iran's warnings to Gulf nations against supporting any ground operation, combined with maximalist demands from both sides, make a deal unlikely in the short term
