This is why I don't just watch the index. $XLE Energy has been grinding higher all year. A big part of that? Oil spiking on geopolitical risk. That's been the fuel. $XLF Financials, the opposite. Broke its trendline, selling off hard, sitting near the lows. The question worth asking: when this oil spike runs its course, does money rotate back into financials? Because that's the kind of sector rotation trade most people don't see coming until it's already happened.

Just two years after telling rich Republicans to jump on a bus and head to Florida, NY Gov Kathy Hochul begs rich taxpayers who are in Florida to come back to New York so they can pay more taxes. Hochul says she needs "high net worth" people to cut her checks to fund New York's social programs. "I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we wanna have in our state right now." "...Cut me the checks... The first step should be to go down to Palm Beach and see who you can bring back home, because our tax base has been eroded."

Bought a hybrid @Hyundai Tuscon. Huge mistake. The hybrid battery died 3 years in. It is technically under warranty, but they have so many cars with problems that they don't provide loaners (or rental car etc). And they're out of batteries so it's been weeks. 👎👎

@JoshYoung @nominallyrich @Hyundai Exactly this and it's kinda sad because they have some good cars. But they spent 20 years proving themselves and had built a decent reputation and in the past few years they've destroyed it.

@TraderBillyAU @Hyundai The hybrids have better acceleration and I like the idea of fuel efficiency, it's really helping minimize the impact of higher prices on consumers. But yeah, I think this is it for me. At least with @Hyundai
