@Helen_Whately Let's hope you never become so ill that you will have to apply for PIP IN YOUR LIFE TIME. that's if you haven't scrapped it and become responsible for thousands of the most infirm disabled people in the country who will suffer terrible hardship and in some cases DEATH.

I cannot say I am sad to see @Keir_Starmer go. As a lifelong Labour voter, I never thought I would have been in the position a year ago of contacting every Labour MP with the sign below in an effort to get them to prevent disability cuts that would cost many £9000. We won (mostly). If @AndyBurnhamGgM is to be successful, he must make sure there is never a proposal of that nature during his leadership. Perhaps he could go one step further and actually make a disabled person the disabilities minister, thus restoring some trust amongst the disabled community. #andyburnham #burnham #starmer

The very first time I've seen Farage questioned properly about his £5M bung, and it's fair to say, he totally fluffed it. DANGER! At one point, he let slip that the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards may 'disagree' with him on the rules around donations. He knows he's going to be found guilty on this one. Keir has given huge service to our country and I want to thank him for his leadership and dedication during such a challenging period. His decision marks the beginning of a transition and it is important that this process is conducted in an orderly and responsible way. I will put myself forward as part of this process. The country expects stability, seriousness and a continued focus on the issues that matter most and that is what it will get. As we move forward, our priority must be to work together to get the country back to where we all want it to be. People want to see progress on economic growth, cost of living, public services, housing and opportunities for the next generation. Political change should never distract from the responsibility to improve people's lives. The Labour movement has always been at its strongest when it looks forward with confidence and purpose. This is what we will do from here and we will make sure this transition is a positive process of renewal for our party and our country.

@AndyBurnhamGM I left school in 77. Went straight to the coal industry until 94. Closure. I got elected on the union NUM. AS BRANCH OFFICAL UNTIL CLOSURE and voted Labour always. I have a brilliant constituency MP. Sarah Champion who I have spoken to many times. She's brilliant.

@AndyBurnhamGM I would also just ask one thing as a person who is terminal ill please go gently on our severe disability claimants on pip and benefits. Not just for me but for thousands of unwell and vunarable people in our land. They will offer palliative treatment but I'm not too well.

The Labour Party and the country owes a great deal to Keir Starmer. Brought Labour back from its worst result in living memory. Won a majority at a general election which history shows does not happen often for Labour leaders. And led the country through difficult times. 🌹

Labour is all over the place. Starmer is weak and distracted, the party has no plan, there is no constancy. This is why there are so many daft contradictions in their proposals.
