#AssistedDyingBill almost 9 in 10 Scots (86%) agree that views of disabled people & groups representing them should be properly taken into account in this debate. In May 2025, that figure was 75%. Only 5% disagreed. yet DPOs have made their position clear & are being ignored.

#AssistedDyingBill #Scotland And 60% worry that if disabled people are living in poverty, with benefits being cut, they may turn to assisted suicide rather than struggle financially. For disabled people polled, that figure is 70%.

#AssistedDyingBill #Scotland Over 6 in 10 (62%) believe that disabled people struggling to access health, social care and other support — given the current state of the NHS — may be more likely to seek assisted suicide. Among disabled respondents, that rises to 65%.
