@august_mk You mean people REACTING to a former Prime Minister who posts things like this publicly? Yes… it’s the fault of people reacting! He’s just living quietly in anonymity…. White Liberal dullards… nary a rational thought.

Typical elite view point. People aren’t “fixated” on Trudeau because of celebrity gossip. They remember the damage. The debt, division, ethics scandals, inflation, broken institutions, weakened national unity, and the smug contempt for ordinary Canadians. His father did lasting damage too. This isn’t some mysterious right-wing obsession. It’s political memory. Some Canadians have not forgotten what that family name has cost the country. So no, medical research isn’t needed. A history book would do. Millions of Canadians just want him to disappear from public view.

Rod, patriotism does not mean pretending everything is fine while the country gets weaker. Talking honestly about taxes, housing, productivity, health care, debt, crime, and declining living standards is not “talking down Canada.” It is refusing to lie about Canada. The people hurting this country are not the ones pointing at the damage. They are the ones telling everyone to clap while the floorboards rot.

Wisdom is badly needed in Canada right now. We are drowning in noise, elbowzo slogans, panic, branding, and moral theatre. Everyone has an opinion. Fewer people have judgment. The Stoic path starts with seeing things clearly. Do not confuse government messaging with truth. Do not confuse compassion with competence. Do not confuse spending with solving. Do not confuse censorship with safety. Do not confuse national pride with blind loyalty to bad leadership. Canada does not need more fashionable language. It needs clear thinking. Before we accept another policy, another tax, another emergency, another lecture from people who never pay the real price, we should ask: What are the facts? Who benefits? Who pays? What are the consequences? Will this make Canadians freer, safer, and more prosperous? Wisdom is not cynicism. It is disciplined judgment. A wise country does not panic. A wise country does not reward failure. A wise country does not treat working people like an endless revenue source. A wise country does not trade liberty for comfort and then pretend nothing was lost. Canada can still correct course. But first we have to stop mistaking noise for truth, emotion for evidence, and political theatre for leadership. See clearly. Think deeply. Judge slowly. Act with purpose. That is wisdom. And Canada needs it.

Yukon Hospitals just launched racially segregated parking spaces. This is not reconciliation. It is discrimination.

Get off your high horse. The same people who spent years casually smearing Trump as a pedophile suddenly discover “public discourse” when the shoe is on the other foot. If Epstein references are out of bounds, then make that the rule for everyone. Don’t clutch pearls only when a Conservative says it, while ignoring photos of Carney and his wife with Ghislaine Maxwell. Either guilt-by-association politics is ugly, or it’s fair game. Pick one.

I have just been arrested by the police in Madrid, Spain. My phone and passport have been seized but I had a second phone in my pocket so I’m writing this from the back of the police car. I was at Puerta del Sol for just 5 minutes. Police told me I cannot have conversations in the public square. I researched the law and spoke with a lawyer and.they are wrong.

Warren’s confused. I said he’s not a “journalist.” He’s a columnist and former political aide. Haven’t read his book, I’m sure it’s excellent. In an earlier book he called me “A reporter with a blow dryer.” Other than that, he seems nice.

You don’t get to boo a country’s flag and anthem, then pretend it’s only about one politician. The anthem is not Trump. The flag is not Trump. It represents the American people, including millions who disagree with him. This isn’t “the world coming together.” It’s a stadium full of people acting like spoiled children and calling it moral courage. If your politics require disrespecting an ally’s national symbols, the problem is not be America’s reputation. It is your manners. Full Stop. 🤡 #retarded

Using domestic abuse as a partisan punchline is gross. Full stop. Poilievre isn’t “gleeful” about Canada struggling. He’s pointing at the damage Canadians can already feel: weaker paycheques, higher housing costs, food bills that won’t quit, business investment drying up, and a country that keeps pretending vibes are policy. Calling that “abusive boyfriend” rhetoric is just stupid Liberal spin with a therapy-word costume on. Canada does not need more emotional manipulation from people defending failure. It needs leaders willing to say the house is on fire before the roof caves in.

Dear @kinsellawarren You’re an X-@liberal_party aide who takes money to give political advice. You write books. Good on ya. But you don’t get to call yourself a #journalist and trash talk somebody who’s spent 43 years fighting to keep the industry alive. Get off my lawn.

Tough to keep track: * China is a strategic threat but also a strategic partner * We're pivoting away from the US but helping to make it great again * We're part of the New World Order * 51st state is bad, but 28th EU country is good * Palestine is sovereign but not Alberta
Scott Robertson@sarobertson_

Carney: The new world order will be built from Europe. Canada is the most European of non-European countries, and we are transforming our cooperation with the EU ... In a more dangerous and divided world, Canada has chosen to build and work in partnership with Europe.
