Fire Update: The Cottonwood and Morrill fires continue to burn. The good news is that containment for the Cottonwood fire is at 78%, while the #Morrill fire is over 70% contained as of this morning.

Ever wonder what 40+ inches of snow look like? That's exactly what Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula saw this weekend! Since then, the National Park Service has been hard at work trying to clear the snow for visitors. #MIwx

UPDATE: The Cottonwood Fire near North Platte has reached 78% containment, and the MASSIVE Morrill Fire (643,000+ acres) made a big leap to 67% contained. Fire weather remains active in the Central Plains over the coming days with high winds & low relative humidity. #NEwx
