I think you’re potentially missing what Memecoins are when you call it vapourware. You’re tokenising culture. Yes culture is slightly intangible so you could mistaken it as vapour. It’s basically the monetisation of network effect and mindshare within the publics subconscious. I do think we are extremely early to the potential this concept holds, even if they don’t morph and it remains nothing more than a symbol who’s to say this doesn’t have value? Humans find value in being part of a collective that hold shared values and ideals. Even if it’s just the love for a cute animal or some degen ideology. We are social creature and these social connection have value I think

we are def moving towards a space where people aren't afraid to build, a more open economy; but also, which direction do people build towards if all attention is on vaporware? there is a secondary effect which benefits defi however: people that take profits will want to earn on their stables / gas tokens, i'll give you that
