Here is the most perfect example of what happens when people do not learn from history: We did this before @RepMariaSalazar. You are undoubtedly too young to remember, but some of us remember this vividly as one of the most egrigious errors committed by President Reagan.
He signed The Immigration Reform and Control Act. We heard the promises of a one-time fix. It was an abject failure. Your bill won't work. How do we know? It has already been tried.
Oh, it may temporarily reduce illegal immigration, but we've seen how the fraud was perpetuated once and it will happen again.
THIS BILL NEEDS TO FAIL! DEPORTATION IS THE ONLY SURE WAY TO END THE INVASION.

Let me explain why J6 alarms your class so much.
It’s projection, nothing more. Your side has spent years engineering color revolutions abroad, so J6 resembled the final phase to you... crowds overrunning a key building to unseat a leader. Except that didn't actually happen.
Plus this time you weren’t in control, so you responded with overwhelming force, prosecuting participants in DC juries molded by NGOs that emphasize "social justice" over evidence.
You cannot describe the actual mechanism through which J6 would have actually resulted in a coup or insurrection, because there was no planning at all involved. Unlike in actual color revolutions.
Now let me explain what real-life sedition looks like.
Sedition starts years before, with allowing foreign NGOs to flood your country and condition your security forces into deflecting. That is exactly what the Seditious Six were doing. That is exactly what the "No Kings" protests are doing. The Trump administration called it out as a color revolution for a good reason.
You won't even blink an eye at the enormous amounts of foreign Communist influence involved in the protests that you so eagerly support. But you will accuse @lecternleader of treason just for posing for a picture with a lectern.

They still don’t understand just how angry we are about the forced transformation of our culture, the selling out of the next generation to foreign labor, and the erasure of the America we grew up in.
ALL illegals need to go.
ALL visa abuses need to end.

They need to leave. "But what if they haven't committed any other crimes???" Leave. "But what if they have a family???" Leave. This isn't hard at all. We have laws in this country. You broke the law. You don't belong here. Nothing personal. But get the hell out. It should not be hard for elected Republicans to articulate this point. If they do have trouble articulating it -- if they take any position on illegal immigration except for this -- they can also go. That's not complicated either.

It does support mass amnesty and I'll tell you exactly where:
Pages 162-170... The Dream Act:
You grant conditional lawful permanent resident status to ILLEGAL ALIENS who:
>Have been continuously present in the U.S. since January 1, 2021
>Entered before age 18
>Meet education, employment, or military service requirements
>Pass criminal background checks
On top of this, in Sec. 2102(b)(3)(B), DACA recipients get fast-tracked to conditional green card status.
...which is literally mass amnesty
BUT THE BILL GOES EVEN FURTHER!!!
On pages 204-217, you present the Dignity Program:
This is a separate track for illegal aliens who don't qualify for the Dream Act.
If you are an illegal aliens who:
> Was continuously present since December 31, 2020
>Pay a $1,000 upfront "restitution" fee
>Submit biometrics, pass a background check
>No felony convictions
You get work authorization + travel authorization + deferred removal for 7 years
After completing the 7-year program (paying $7,000 total in fees, staying employed, obeying laws, paying back taxes):
We grant you:
> "Dignity Status" which is essentially a lawful nonimmigrant status, which is renewable any number of times
>Work and travel authorization
But the most important bit that you're hiding here is that it totally suspends deportation of anyone who qualifies for this.
This would effective end ALL MASS DEPORTATIONS in the United States immediately.
You are a liar, you are a fraud, everything you stand for is fake... did YOU read your own bill?
