Excellent - I wondered if there was a gap in the market. Another nail bar for #Whitton. I think we may now have one for every finger on each hand. Good work @LBRUT
The RFU have not governed the game well. With three premiership teams lost and the league almost an irrelevance with the loss of relegation, the news that the Championship is going to be 'renamed' Champ Rugby is laughable.
The end of an era 💔
Harlequins legend @dannycare will retire from professional rugby at the end of the 2024–25 season 🎩

@AlexanderEhmann@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU Your retort is "you Tory" and by implication wrong. Whatever. As I say today is 2025. My political beliefs are not known to you but you can throw tags as much as you want. I, and all residents in Richmond and #Whitton are allowed their opinion no matter what their political view.
@WhittonThoughts@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU I know you stood as a Tory and were an elected Conservative Councillor in Richmond. Hardly a state secret. Feel free to update Twitter on your beliefs if that helps…
@AlexanderEhmann@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU Insult after insult when people put a view that is different to yours. How you call yourself liberal I don't know. I always thought it was meant to be democratic. & once again it always astounds me that you place political tags on me when you have no idea about my beliefs today.
@WhittonThoughts@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU Also, if we play “hard ball”, one can only assume you & your fellow Tories played ‘soft ball’ with them, when you ran the Council. I know which I think residents want - and it ain’t the one with a sponge ball…
@AlexanderEhmann@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU Back to personal insults again. Always the way. And if you think #Whitton doesn't take the full impact of match day, with grace, then you are doing a massive disservice to the residents here. Frankly that shows a real lack of understanding of the support in this town for rugby.
@WhittonThoughts@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU I’m going to do what I always have. Push for what’s in best interest of the community I represent. To be honest, whenever we discuss the @RFU - you come across as in thrall to them. Maybe its because you are a regular patron or perhaps where you live doesnt feel the pain. 🤷
@AlexanderEhmann@LBRUT@EnglandRugby@RFU £600m in local investment. Local jobs. The cultural uplift of having the national game in the borough. Your Council has always played hard ball with @EnglandRugby. Frankly I can understand why they are considering their options. I hope that the Council take a more measured look.
@WhittonThoughts@LBRUT@EnglandRugby No Gareth. The @RFU need to take a hard look at themselves. A process is underway. One where many competing views and interests need to be considered. Threatening our community with a walk-out is quite frankly petulant and some residents will consider it bully-boy tactics.
I think it is crazy that when the world is facing an existential crisis, the Oscars still seem to dominate the news. Seriously, what dresses people are wearing for an ultra exclusive event is more important than war and suffering? @BBCNews#realitycheck
