@flydotio @render @gesteves I also tried fly.io but never managed to get my Django app up and running there unfortunately. Had I given it some more time, I might have. But there needs to be more docs around this. Not just around a basic python app.

I wonder how many tutorials that wants/needs to rewrite their deployment section after Heroku free tier will go away. How do all of your tutorial writers think about this?

@render @gesteves @flydotio But in the end I kind of like it, as well as the pricing. So far the only thing that bothers me is that too many action I do requires a rebuild. For example changing a env variable. But I guess I can live with that.

@render @gesteves @flydotio I've only had a couple of demo apps up on Heroku. I tried to deploy one of them on Render recently. There was a bit of trial and error as it always is on a new unknown platform.

@jacobian @samlambert @kwuchu @flydotio @render Putting their CEO's bad behavior aside, I have tried to deploy a Django app to Render. I must say the technology and interface is not that bad. It's also a reasonable free tier for demo apps, as well as affordable pricing if you need something more.
