Instead of selling "1 video for $300" — sell:
• Starter: 2 videos + raw files — $500
• Growth: 4 videos + 2 hooks + usage rights — $950
• Full Campaign: 8 videos + strategy call — $1,800
Packages increase average order value AND filter serious brands from time-wasters.
Stop selling singles. Start selling solutions.

Whenever anyone starts UGC, you don’t get to a complete feeling of “ready” before you start.
You just get to a point where staying the same feels worse than trying.
Speaking for myself, the pang of staying the same became greater take the “results unknown” bet on myself.
And baby that bet, WAS WORTH IT 👏🏻 😮💨

This is something that I THINK most creators do but I don't like 🥸
How do we feel about hopping on a clarity call with the brand before for every collaboration??
I often feel like it is just a waste of time, a lot of the call is usually figuring out if you and the brand would be a good fit but figuring this out over email is soooo much faster!
- brand quality
- product fit
- workload vs pay
If i can get this info quickly over email I don't have to schedule a meeting time with the brand which could throw a wrench into my workflow 🤷

Nobody talks about the in between moments enough!!
Yesterday I got a coffee, caught a sunset, had a slow moment with a pastry in CDMX and still hit a full UGC workday.
That’s not time freedom btw, I’d say it’s time flexibility.
What I’m learning..if you build the right systems around the friction points, eventually it becomes the same thing 💪🏻

One thing I love is being able to weave a lil funny story into my content 😏
#ugcexample for a retainer client that lets me take the reigns but also trusts I infuse the brands messaging throughout.

THERE IS ROOM FOR EVERYONE IN THIS LANE 🔥 I have to say it.
Totally understand X can be a valuable positioning tool, however - if we’re starting posts by dragging and cutting other creators work down as a way to build your own work up … why?
You can theoretically know exactly what converts, but emotional intelligence and reading the room is JUST as important. If you’re willing to drag someone’s work as a way to big up yourself.. brands can see that too. If the goal is positioning, I don’t see how negativity towards others is attractive.
Let’s clap for one another and recognize there are so many other ways to show why you stand out to brands 💪🏻

"We only have $150 in the budget."
Most creators hear that and either:
a) Accept it
b) Walk away
There's a third option nobody teaches:
"What business outcome does this campaign need to drive?"
That one question reframes the entire negotiation.
$150 for a video = commodity pricing.
$800 for a campaign asset driving a $50K ad spend = solution pricing.
Same video. Different frame. Different check.

One thing I’ve learned doing UGC consistently.
Pushing through mental fatigue RARELY leads to your best work 😮💨
Stepping away for an hour (walk, workout, reset) almost always gives me a fresh energized mindset to deliver the standard of quality that’s a non 👏🏻 negotiable.
Quality > forcing it every time.

Another thing I love about the flexibility of UGC …
Being able to pause when needed.
Without saying too much the 🇲🇽 food got the best of me OOOOP.
Staying horizontal and being able to put it down mentally so you can come back stronger is very underrated. Never would this have happened so cleanly in my other jobs. Grateful to have clients who receive and appreciate open communication.

Unpopular opinion: chasing viral content as a UGC creator is a waste of your time.
Brands don't pay you for views. They pay you for conversion.
A video that turns 10 people into buyers is worth more than a video with 100k plays that sells nothing.
Stop optimising for likes. Start optimising for results.

Don’t underestimate following up. I connected with a CS on IG when she posted an opp. I never heard back after a weeks assumed I wasn’t chosen, almost moved on but thought naaa lemme just check in. Turns out she had another project I could help out with 👏🏼
Don’t close doors on yourself because you’re too afraid to tap people on the shoulder and remind them you’re there (and valuable 😏).
