Anthony Kim shoots rounds of 67, 64, 69 and 70 to secure his first top 5 finish since returning to competitive golf in 2024. He said after his round that his comeback proves the hard work is paying off and it’s “for all of the people that are struggling.” Speaking exclusively to Flushing It Golf, AK said about his performance: “I'm sure I'll feel better about it when I'm on the flight home. Right now, I'm very frustrated with the middle stretch of my round, and unfortunately, I didn't get the putts to fall early. I hit the ball very well the first 12 holes, then unfortunately, made a couple of unforced errors. “I think this proves that my hard work is paying off. You know, not that this is a big deal, but I found faith in God and unfortunately, I didn't get it done today. But, I feel like God has a bigger plan for me, not just in the golf, but to help other people.” He went on to elaborate: “Yeah, I mean, obviously I've dealt with my fair share of mental illness and addiction and, you know, I'm working for my family, I'm working for myself. But I'm also working for the people that are struggling.” As for where he goes from here, he has his sights set firmly on earning his spot back on the LIV Golf League for 2026 via the Promotion’s Event in January: “Yeah. I’ll be there. I think if I just keep working the way I'm working, I'm finally able to swing the way I want to on the golf course. So, once that happens, and I make a few putts, I'll be right back.” I’ve followed AK’s comeback closely over the last 2 years, and seen how just hard he has worked. To see him get the rewards he truly deserves has been incredibly inspiring. Keep it up, AK 👊 @AnthonyKim_Golf
