I visited Midnimo health facility in Dhobley, Southern Somalia. We are working in partnership with the Ministry of Health to deliver multiple interventions, including health and nutrition, multipurpose cash transfer, disaster risk reduction and training. The SHIP program, supported by @eu_echo, a consortium of World Vision, OXFAM, WASDA, ZAM ZAM, and GREDO, is reaching out to hard-to-reach communities.
Partnering with @unicefsomalia we are layering support for severely malnourished #children. Through this joint action, we are providing an integrated and comprehensive package of services.
With the downturn of aid resources, these outposts are becoming important lifelines for #mothers and #children.
