@UT4x_champs @RedRaiderMafia Again. Thats the fucking point. Why is the NCAA letting Ut players eligible after betting. Per their own rules is a suspension.
That proves the double standard right there. If Tech wasnt the new kid on the block and in the SEC/Big10 this would have been swept under the rug.
English

@RedRaiderMafia @WreckEmPossum Jeez, so loud and so wrong at the same time.
The UT athletes were all ruled eligible by the NCAA. Let’s be very clear.
Sorsby is still considered ineligible by the NCAA. The judge said the NCAA isn’t allowed to do that. That doesn’t mean he’s eligible.
English

@Orangebloodsatx Who is allowing Sorsby to come back week 3… vs Houston…His alma mater.
Also he was assigned by an Ana Estevez. An A&M grad.
English

@WreckEmPossum Most impartial judge to ever wear the robe, am I right?
Jon Reed@Jon__Reed
The judge's son in law is a Tech alum. His daughter lives in Lubbock. Also, he worked in Tarrant County, Texas… which is 30 mins away from Cedar Hill high school, where Tech’s coach Joey McGuire won 3 state championships and was a coaching legend. Pretending he isn't "local" because of where he went to law school 40 years ago is LAUGHABLE
English

I know tech fans aren’t the brightest but are they just being intentionally ignorant at this point or what?
Every “whataboutism” they make only hurts their case. Example A - Home boy was kicked off the team, so why would anyone refuse to play UGA? 🤨🤦🏻♂️

big ounce@_bigounce
Teams won’t say “I don’t want to play Georgia” … But will boycott TTU for a ruling they didn’t decide. Hypocrisy
English

@Orangebloodsatx The judge who gave the verdict (Judge Kenneth Curry) from Forth worth who graduated from UT arlington and University of Houston law school. At one point is that a conflict of interest. Ill wait. Maybe read up before you make false points.
English

@WreckEmPossum Impartial judge…. Good lord yall really have drank the kool aid 🤦🏻♂️
English

@UT4x_champs I did read the article. That’s the whole point. If they bet, they shouldn’t be allowed to play according to the NCAA rules, yet there were. There was no community uproar about it either.
English

@WreckEmPossum Did you not read the rest of the article where they were eventually ruled to be eligible again? Or do you only read the headlines?
I guess that’s why they say get your grades up or get your guns up.
Call me when Sorsby is ruled to be eligible again.
English

@Orangebloodsatx Who is tech to disagree with an impartial judge’s legal opinion on the challenging of the NCAA rules for his suspension.
English

@Orangebloodsatx Brother yes they are. I can tag you in about a million post saying permanent banning for betting is the rule and should be upheld. Again Im not arguing Sorsby should play. If the allegations are true that he placed even one bet against his team, he should be done.
English

Friendly reminder it’s only a problem when Texas Tech does it
Barstool Longhorn@UTBarstool
Friendly reminder this exists
English

@Orangebloodsatx Thats literally what every person is arguing. They want Sorsby banned from the NCAA. And if the allegations he bet against his team I agree.
English

He got kicked off the team lol
WreckEmPossum🌵@WreckEmPossum
@UT4x_champs So should UT then. Lets keep standards the same
English

The NCAA couldn’t stop Brendan Sorsby. A judge reinstated the Texas Tech QB despite his gambling scandal. Now the College Football Playoff might be the last group with the power to draw the line. It should immediately declare the Red Raiders ineligible for the CFP, columnist Matt Hayes writes. tinyurl.com/3cf7t4r2

English

@Orangebloodsatx Nope. According to everyone once you bet your banned for life.
English

@WreckEmPossum Right, after following the process set by the ncaa… not by filing a lawsuit to avoid accountability 🤡
English

@WreckEmPossum Maybe know the facts and don’t just parrot talking points without knowing wtf you’re talking about 🤡

English

@indy_sooner Ya debunked without a real investigation. “Sorce was trust me bro”
English

It's too bad this was already debunked and looked into.
The fact you guy think it's because its Texas Tech is laughable.
Lubbock ain't that important and I promise you it'd be an even BIGGER story if it was at an actual blue blood like yours truly.
Trey Wolff🌵@trey_wolff2
🤔🤣

My replies are flooded with Texas Tech fans saying “Tech did nothing wrong.”
Yes they did.
Publicly advocating for reinstatement in this situation is WRONG.
Supporting nefarious tactics that threaten the future of college football is WRONG.
Paying $6 million in NIL to a player that was caught gambling on his team is WRONG.
Pretending he has “served his time” by attending a 30 day rehab when the precedent for betting on your team has ALWAYS been banishment is WRONG.
It’s CRAZY that so many people are staking their careers and reputation on this kid.
It’s going to be CINEMA when they finish the season outside of the playoff.
English

@JoeyMcGuireTTU @CodyC64
I think we need to rescind or offer to play @TexasFootball. We cant afford to compromise the integrity of the game
