You're a Web3 native and understand the real value of building a Web3 community and inclusion, which this project certainly achieved based on your diatribe and clear data. I’ve noticed his opinion on NFTs seems to have suddenly improved as he’s discovered their potential as a campaign-funding mechanism. *ahem* Cash grab *ahem* The Trump NFT rally was held on Wednesday while he took a little break from his latest criminal trial. Instead of attending traditional rallies for his Presidential campaign, Donald forced out the utility that was promised to this particular group of NFT holders. [1] During the Mar-a-Lago meet-up, Trump informed attendees, in regards to crypto, that ‘The Biden is against it’, whereas he, Donald, is ‘fine with it.’ He, also, mocked Biden’s lack of crypto knowledge, much to the appreciation of the crowd. [2] With the deep understanding Donald portrayed in the speech, it’s no wonder he felt he should pass judgement.🤨 Trump NFTs launched with Series 1 in December 2022. Within the collection of 45,000 NFTs, some provided exclusive utility, such as the meet-up held on Wednesday. [3] The most recent collection included a chance to own a physical card that had a piece of Trump’s iconic ‘Mugshot’ suit, worn on the day he was arrested in Georgia on 24th August, 2023. Who doesn’t want a smelly piece of fabric, eh? However, Donald has not always been so pro-crypto and NFTs. In fact, it’s blatantly obvious that good old Donald’s recent change of tune is merely a campaign ruse to earn votes from crypto enthusiasts. Another ‘good old working man’ and ‘what a forward thinker’ comment earner, when the reality couldn’t be more different. However, it’s a disappointment that the Democrat’s very public anti-crypto rhetoric will only assist him in this. In 2019, Donald labelled BTC and crypto as ‘not real currencies, that are highly volatile and based on thin air.’ We degens love to go on a good dig to expose a scammer. I mean, @zachxbt made a career out of this, right? We hate a faux NFT lover whose only interest is a cash and power grab, however thinly veiled. I don’t think it could be argued that anything Trump has done so far is positive and, for me, that includes stepping into NFTs. We wanted decentralisation, we were Punk - the edgy outsiders who rocked our space. We wanted all the things Trump himself stands against. Community? Well, yeah, if you’re a rich, white American. Money? Nah, line Trump’s pockets. This is a man who can’t see the credibility of his country was trashed when he became President. Former president and highly unpleasant person💩, Donald Trump, may have a short memory, but we in the NFT community do not.
