@SOFYA_music @aroacespidey I quite literally have a gf and she knows that even if I can’t feel it part of the time, I love her. Even if I were on a different part of the spectrum I’d still love her. You don’t need to feel love to want to love someone, sometimes the need to be close is enough.

@aroacespidey These people sound so insecure. An aromantic person can still love one person more than anyone else. Just not romantically (well, depends, but yk). And just because someone doesn't experience romantic attraction, that doesn't mean they don't crave stable emotional closeness.

@SuperbMarvinLvr @TheBrujoAri I see slice of life the same way I see mac n cheese. It’s an easy dish that’s always made by people. But can taste and feel different depending on who makes it. You *could* start out with a full course, but nothing beats a nice warm bowl of mac n cheese.

Just a reminder: Two of the best animated films of this decade, The Mitchells vs. the Machines and Nimona, both include LGBTQ representation done naturally and effectively, with Katie Mitchell from The Mitchells being canonically queer and Nimona centering a same-sex relationship between Ballister and Ambrosius, and both films were critically acclaimed, widely loved by critics and audiences, and received major awards recognition because they’re genuinely strong, creative, and emotionally resonant stories. Undoubtedly better storytelling than these two Mario movies Who could’ve thought that you can include representation in such a sincere and honest way when the writing actually cares about its characters in an animated film?
