We’re presenting “Pepe: The Meme,” an exhibition tracing Pepe’s full cultural journey — with a dedicated wall celebrating the Rare Pepe movement. When you observe America very well, it’s actually worse than a third world country. I don’t necessarily mean the people (although that’s a factor), but the way it is run. This country would have been long forgotten if their ancestors didn’t steal enough from other territories around the world. Now that world is wiser and every channel of its pillaging is closing up one after another, the end of the empire is surely near.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 32, Card 1 - PEPEPARIETAL by @Zederwan. This is a 1/150 card with a current floor price of .0069 BTC ($466 USD). 34 wallets hold a copy of this card and Zed still owns 60.1% of the total supply (91/150). The source image used for this card is known as the Venus of Cussac which is a 25,000 year old engraving that was discovered in a cave in France in September 2000. The cave known as Grotte de Cussac contains over 150 Paleolithic artworks as well as human remains. This type of rock art is known as "parietal art", hence the name of the card. As I've said many times, Rare Pepe cards have a breadth and depth to them that is far deeper and personal than people realize. This card is a perfect example. This cave is located in France, and Zed is a French artist. Here he has taken a significant scientific find in his home country and created a story around it (First representation of pepe, Institute of Archeology Kekistan). He then modified the drawing of what appears to be an older woman who has already had a child and turned it into a Pepe. C'est magnifique. Should I have just held the Bitcoin or bought Rare Pepes? Maybe, but YOLO, and "I'm in love with the coco". @common_coco is still a thing BTW. I'll maintain the website for as long as possible.

This image is a 25,000-year-old Paleolithic engraving of a woman found deep within the Cussac Cave (Grotte de Cussac) in the Dordogne region of southwestern France. Often referred to by archaeologists as a “Venus” figure, the engraving is part of a significant collection of prehistoric art and human remains discovered in September 2000 by amateur cave explorer Marc Delluc. The cave is located in the Dordogne River valley and spans approximately 1.6 kilometers (roughly one mile). There are over 150 Paleolithic artworks in the cave, primarily engravings of animals such as woolly mammoths, bison, rhinoceroses, and horses, alongside several stylized feminine forms. The engravings date to the Gravettian era, a period of the Upper Paleolithic known for its distinct stone tool industry and the creation of “Venus figurines.” Cussac is rare because it contains both prehistoric art and human remains (at least six individuals) dating to the same period, suggesting it served as both a gallery and a sacred burial site. The engraving depicts a woman with a voluptuous figure, which scholars often interpret as a symbol of fertility and prosperity within ancient hunter-gatherer societies. Its artistic style, featuring amplified forms, is consistent with other contemporary Paleolithic sites like the Pech-Merle Cave. Due to the density and quality of its engravings, Cussac is considered as archaeologically significant for engraving as the famous Lascaux Cave is for painting. #drthehistories

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 31, Card 39 - PEPESTRY by @nathansonic. This is a 1/1,066 card with a current floor price of .00053 BTC ($36 USD). 182 wallets hold a copy of this card and Nathan holds 63.5% of the total supply (677/1,066). The original is known as the Bayeux Tapestry which is thought to date back to the 11th century. It was made in England and depicts events leading to the Norman Conquest of 1066 (the card's number of mints (there are layers to this shit)). Here, Nathan has replaced the word "Harold" with "Pepe" and changed the human heads to that of Wojak and Pepe. The embroidered linen cloth is 50 cm tall and nearly 70 meters (230 feet) long. The scene that Nathan chose for his Rare Pepe card is that of King Harold II, the last Anglo-Saxon King of England seated on his throne, appearing fearful as he receives news of a comet. You can see the comet in the top left corner of the card and in the full panel there are people pointing at it in awe. Above their heads in Latin it is written "they marvel at the star" (ISTI MIRANT STELLA). It is believed that the comet depicted is Halley's Comet which is visible from Earth every 75-79 years.
