This is a proof of concept that I did about a month before #Starship Flight 4. I wanted to include a short shot of #SuperHeavy ignition in my Flight 4 hype animation because I knew it would be challenging to pull off with the level of realism that I try to achieve. I ended up rendering several of these test animations so that I could fine-tune all the dynamic fluid behavior. There is a lot more going on than just a simple fire and smoke simulation. Overall, I spent about 3 weeks working on a shot that ended up being 2-3 seconds long.

Literally just a video of a Starship Block 2 coasting in orbit while the KSP soundtrack plays in the background.

Last year i tried to recreate the @stoke_space rocket in kerbal space program

@SpaceX should launch S26 on B12 for flight 5. This would give them more time to perfect the heat shield on S30, and they could also attempt the first catch of Super Heavy. And besides, it would mean the end of S26 :)
