Bruh the render used in the news story is of the ISS and not Mir 💀 I guess mainstream media was just as clueless about space back in the day as it is today. Waiting for the 2030 ISS deorbit to show AI slop renders

Taco Bell announces a promotion to coincide with the re-entry of the Russian Mir space station. The company tows a large target out into the Pacific Ocean and announces that if the target is hit by a piece of the Mir, every person in the United States will get a free taco.

We loved giving a warm Texas welcome to @NASA Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya and giving him a behind the scene look at Blue Ghost Mission 2 and our Eclipse rocket. These partnerships are key to America leading the next era of space exploration on the Moon and beyond.

Engineers are targeting 8 pm ET on Thursday, March 19, for rollout of Artemis II. NASA’s crawler-transporter 2 will carry the 11-million-pound stack at about 1 mph along the four-mile route from the Vehicle Assembly Building at @NASAKennedy to the launch pad.

With Booster 19 back at the Production Site, a look at the four tankings of CH4 & LOX during the 10 day "initial activation" testing of Pad 2 and the V3 Super Heavy Booster. Do you think it will get even faster by the time of Flight 12? @NASASpaceflight | nsf.live/starbase

Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire

If this was shorter than planned, I would expect them to try again at some point before rolling back. Unless... they're okay with just this brief test and they can just continue working on the booster before the next round of testing.

STATIC FIRE: Booster 19 fires up, but feels very short and potentially aborted early. However, first time for Pad 2, the first time for V3, and the first time Raptor 3's have fired up together. youtube.com/live/z83PHp7A0…

According to a new @FAAnews Obstruction Evaluation / Airport Airspace Analysis entry, @SpaceX is proposing to build a 320ft (97.5m) Communications Tower immediately south of LC-39A. For comparison, this is only slightly shorter than the Fixed Service Structure (FSS) at the Falcon pad, which is 105.7m tall. The only information known about this permanent structure is its location, its height, that it will hold antennas, and that it will be marked with red lights. 📷 Google Earth/Airbus

I also wonder if they retry again later in the week if they would need to access the booster's aft. Definitely interesting test and this is how they learn about the hardware!
