Earlier today on the Space Coast, SpaceX's new ship Marmac 301 AKA "You'll Thank Me Later" got the back cover installed, bringing it a step closer to being ready to support Starship horizontal Transport operations. @NASASpaceflight | nsf.live/spacecoast

@Alexphysics13 They should have multiple vehcles worth of prop storage in those tanks if they want to launch from the same pad within hours.

This makes my head spin because it's like... would they have time to replenish the tank farm for a launch on the 19th?

STARSHIP FLIGHT 12: @StarbaseTX has posted two new Beach Closures, potentially indicating more pre-launch testing at the pad. Maybe another Wet Dress Rehearsal? Primary: May 17, 12:00 - 23:59 CDT (17:00 - 04:59 UTC) Backup: May 18, 06:00 - 22:00 CDT (11:00 - 03:00 UTC) 📷 @_MaxQ_/@NASASpaceflight

@0ecufdCJ I rather find interesting what SpaceX would test on the pad with Booster 20 that they would need to schedule testing literally the day before they're hoping to fly from that same pad with a complete different set of vehicles

A new chapter begins. The first Vulcan booster is vertical in the new Vertical Integration Facility (VIF-A) dedicated to @Amazonleo. This milestone enables testing of first use technologies and validates systems supporting Amazon’s LEO constellation.

@TheRealPhil06 6 seconds from when you start seeing water on the trench to the top deck activating. The weir vents happen three seconds earlier. The water on the trench also just happens to be about 9 seconds before engine ignition so that puts it at T-12s, hence top deck is T-6s

@Alexphysics13 The top deck test this morning seemed to be 7 second after the deluge began which would be t-10 sec

@Alexphysics13 Maybe wind up? Maybe it takes time for the water to get to the pad and that’s the “wind up” start? (Kinda guessing here)

@Alexphysics13 My guess is it activates this early to fill the flame bucket with water that allows for the built up water to further protect the bucket as if bleeds away exhaust energy by instantly vaporizing

@Alexphysics13 Maybe they just meant that for DSS and just only put one time slot for the entire water sequence (diverted and DSS included)?

@Alexphysics13 Maybe because they want to fill the trench with water, before ignition?

@Alexphysics13 What time was tower clear for V2 ships? 17 sec does seem like a long time if lift off is at +3 or 4 seconds.
