Loving this @RJ16848519 self-portrait for People of Tezos.
I’ve always been reluctant to make my own one.
I’ve politely declined these proposals.
It reminds me of prizes,
of decorations,
the need to apply,
to build consensus,
to construct a network around it.
I understand their value,
the light they can bring.
But they move me away
from the reason I m here.
I don’t create to be loved
I create because I simply have to.
For myself, first.
And yet, I collect self-portraits by others.
What I don’t do, I’m glad they do.
In a way, it completes me.
