I’ve been in Sri Lanka for over a month now.
This is the piece I created for the competition — it’s currently available on SuperRare with a 0.3 ETH reserve.

A bit about the trip.
I’m flying out the day after tomorrow. The last few days have been calm.
Mostly small, everyday things left — like settling the hotel.
Yesterday my last friends flew out. Everything went smoothly, aside from a sudden evacuation alert.
Fortunately, nothing serious happened.
A few words about the work.
I spent around three weeks on it — I can’t remember the last time I dedicated this much time to a single piece.
It was a deep dive into the idea, building the structure, shaping the narrative.
Long waiting, some frustration, but eventually — acceptance.
This month has been incredibly intense.
I can’t recall another period in my life quite like it.
I’ve grown used to this place.
New ideas appeared, a desire to start a new series, new collaborations, new plans.
Sri Lanka is striking in its warmth — and not just the weather.
The people, the characters — almost too open to feel real, but they are.
The nature, the animals, the ocean.
Sometimes I catch myself thinking I could stay here and live.
Like Gauguin leaving for Tahiti.
I don’t know what else to add.
Maybe this was an important chapter.
And maybe it’s only the beginning.
