Controversial matter, but with pros and cons to consider. Details to action this with EPA are included in Jon's comments link to the full story in Substack. Before you action, also consider Impact Studies on some prior mosquito releases in other countries.. brief overview in my comments.

That's concerning, if true for America. Sounds like another potential direct assault on the First Amendment & Fourth Amendment principles. Need to protect constitutional speech and surveillance-free communication. How can they not see that pursuing AI-enforced “harmful speech” rules is politically, reputationally, financially, and technically toxic for them? Is someone already preparing a formal public intellectual response/rebuttal? We all know whoever programs the AI would define [potentially manipulate] the boundaries of “harm.” Who is to be held accountable for maintaining constitutional boundaries? Today it’s vax skepticism.. tomorrow it could be criticism of any billionaire-funded initiative. This is not slippery-slope rhetoric, but the exact pattern prior censorship regimes followed. While we want to stay ahead in the AI game, we do need to take a different path from other strategic communist regimes to also protect the root of American freedoms. Need to carefully protect from anyone proposing private corporate AI as a de facto Super-regulator that bypasses Congress, courts, and the Constitution.

Not quite @ first time.. Mr Gates is also tech giant & he breeds & releases them, has been doing so for years. They're doing environmental studies on those environments now to see how it impacts the rest of the ecosystem (e.g. tree frogs & lizard populations that also eat the gene-altered sterile mosquitos, etc.)

🇺🇸Google's next product launch is 32 million mosquitoes. California and Florida are the test markets. The goal is disease control through mass sterile mosquito release, a proven method, but this is the first time a tech giant has deployed it at this scale. Google went from fixing bugs to releasing them. Source: 10 Tampa Bay News (WTSP)

🚨BREAKING: NVIDIA WILL NOW PAY YOU OVER $22,000 A YEAR TO HOST A MINI AI DATA CENTER IN YOUR HOME. Here's how it works: A startup called Span (with NVIDIA GPUs + homebuilder Pulte) just launched a program that installs a "node" outside your house, the size of an AC unit. What's inside one box: → 16x NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs → 4x AMD EPYC server CPUs → 3TB of memory → a 15kWh whole-home backup battery That's $200k+ of hardware sitting next to your air conditioner. You own none of it. The deal for homeowners: → Free install (new builds first) → Span pays your electricity AND internet bills → You pay them one flat fee (~$150/mo) → Net savings can hit thousands a year It runs on the "stranded power" your home never uses. The average 200-amp house wastes ~40% of its capacity. They're turning that into compute. The vision is wild: Span says 8,000 of these nodes = a 100MW data center, but 5x cheaper and 6x faster to deploy. No new power plants. No 4-7 year grid delays. AI demand is breaking the grid. Their fix? Skip the mega data center. Build it across thousands of suburban garages instead. 100-home pilot drops Fall 2026. Full rollout 2027. The AI buildout just moved into your backyard.

I appreciate how you present information. Sometimes I observe/process it but don't know how to implement it. In this instance, some of it clicks. Thank you. I used to utilize a variation of Emotional Disclosure Writing in an offline journal (when visual remapping was insufficient), to supplement my prior foundation/ obsession with understanding human psychology, to help me address deeper personal losses.. where discussing with a close confidant was/would likely be ineffective due to misalignments in cultural influences / personal boundaries. [To achieve unfiltered disclosure for more adaptive, complete recovery.. later burning them for privacy once I was ready to release it. It was helpful.] I took your info here a step further, to integrate what resonates (with assistance from AI), into a focused emotional disclosure writing exercise of some indicative topics (as for a man losing a profound, long-term childhood pet bond). Might help someone else with developing their own version: A) To target emotional closeness & time dimensions..can consider shared life & the daily bond.. addresses space remapping & the complex yearning/ oxytocin component: Write continuously about memories from puppyhood thru pet’s final years, incl routines, quirks & how relationship shaped your childhood-to-adulthood emotional world. Sensations of loss & ongoing absence. How they passed, immediate physical/emotional reactions, & how familiar spaces or times of day now feel without the pet. B) “What if” scenarios & unresolved feelings .. directly ties into counterfactual protocol: Explore counterfactual thoughts like different care decisions, imagined longer life together, or alternate endings, plus any guilt, anger or “if only” reflections. C) The pet’s deeper role in your identity & relationships .. facilitates meaning-making & fuller emotional processing: Detail how pet influenced your personality, family dynamics, coping with other life events, or sense of companionship/ security over shared years. D) Gratitude, legacy, and forward adaptation..to supports integration, reduces complicated grief risk, and aids long-term healing alongside sleep: Write about cherished positive impacts, what pet “taught” you, & practical ways the bond continues/ could evolve while acknowledging the pain of change. -------------------------------- [Write by hand or type on an offline device w/o editing for grammar/ spelling, focusing on deepest thoughts/feelings. Private setting, outdoors during sunlight where possible. 3-4 sessions min, approx. 20min each. 1-2x per wk]. Thank you for the additional puzzle pieces @hubermanlab

7-ton asteroid lights up Northeast Ohio skies, fragments above Medina County A fireball lit up skies across Northeast Ohio Tuesday morning after a seven-ton asteroid entered the atmosphere and broke apart over Medina County, NASA confirmed. The space agency said the meteor was first detected at 8:57 a.m. off Lake Erie near Lorain. It traveled more than 34 miles through the atmosphere before breaking up, with some fragments falling to the ground. “That’s a rocky or metal piece, a fragment that’s floating through space, that comes in contact with our atmosphere; it’s that friction that creates that streak of light that we see,” said JonDarr Bradshaw, a community engagement coordinator for the Great Lakes Science Center. “It’s very rare, because the earth has such a thick atmosphere, that that particle, that object actually makes it all the way to the ground.” Astronomer Jay Reynolds explained Tuesday’s experience was once in a lifetime. A shared experience, the sound of meteors, something from space coming in,” Reynolds said. “It’s a big deal. How often does this happen, very rarely.” Reynolds spoke with 19 News about what meteorite that might be found could look like. “What you want to look for is something in your backyard that shouldn’t be there,” Reynolds said. “Look at the rocks, look at them carefully. You’d be surprised.

🇺🇸 Spencer Pratt outraised the sitting LA Mayor 10 to 1 in a single month 😳 $2.72M vs $283K for Karen Bass. LA's 2026 mayoral race is shaping up to be a case study in what happens when machine politics meets a candidate voters actually want to fund.

DHS JUST PUBLISHED THE EXACT LIST OF AIRPORTS THEY WILL SHUT DOWN IF SANCTUARY CITIES REFUSE TO COOPERATE Not vague threats. Not "we'll look into it." NAMED FACILITIES. SPECIFIC AIRPORTS. City by city. 🇺🇸 JFK — New York City's primary international gateway → customs processing ENDED 🇺🇸 LaGuardia — New York → international arrivals rerouted 🇺🇸 Newark — New Jersey → 5th busiest cargo hub in the US → SHUT for customs 🇺🇸 LAX — Los Angeles → 2nd busiest international airport in America → OFFLINE 🇺🇸 O'Hare — Chicago → one of the largest cargo airports on Earth → GONE 🇺🇸 SFO — San Francisco → Silicon Valley's global gateway → customs ENDED 🇺🇸 SEA — Seattle → Pacific Rim trade hub → SHUT 🇺🇸 Logan — Boston → New England's only major international port → OFFLINE 🇺🇸 PHL — Philadelphia → GONE 🇺🇸 PDX — Portland → GONE 🇺🇸 DEN — Denver → the hub connecting the entire Mountain West to international routes → SHUT 💀 10+ named airports 💀 10 sanctuary jurisdictions 💀 ZERO of these cities have agreed to cooperate with ICE detainers 💀 100% of the consequence falls on international travelers, cargo operators, and connecting passengers — not on the politicians who made the policy Every airport on this list processes the international arrivals that feed the entire domestic flight network. Not just international travelers. Every connecting passenger. Every cargo shipment. Every tourist dollar. Mullin's exact words: "They don't want us to enforce immigration, but they want us to process immigration at their facilities." That is not a political slogan. That is the operational rationale already being briefed to airline executives. Mullin's plans are still being drawn up. These are the airports at the center of it right now. I'll keep you updated. AI drones are planting trees at a scale no human crew ever could. Imagine planting 120 seed pods per minute, 400,000 trees a day, and 70,000 hectares restored across 12+ countries. 150x faster than humans. 10x cheaper. The AI scans terrain and picks the optimal spot for each seed before it's fired into the ground with 0 guesswork and 0 wasted effort. Source: MattyAIModelsMonetization YT

I wonder.. will humanoid robots be paying taxes for the $ they earn, or will their owners? Or whomever they are leased to? When they break the law (due to flawed/out-of-date programming, or being provoked/framed, or being hacked, etc.), will they also be tried in court? Be paying penalties? Serve prison sentences for the crimes they "committed" ..or were used to commit? Or will that accountability shift to whomever owns them.. or whomever last logged into their system? Who will own those insurance companies? A whole new legal world to consider.
