To Gumayusi fans, do not EVER think that Gumayusi "lost" to T1gall. If it's really his decision to leave, then I command him for choosing better working conditions. In my eyes, T1 org is the bigger loser here, they traded their morals and sold their behind to an extremist group.

@Nymaera @heckadots I think it is not just T1 that needs to adapt but it is Peyz who should be adapting to T1's playstyle.

@heckadots I’d argue there are metas where Peyz can outshine Guma, even if Guma’s ceiling is higher. Whether the meta rolls that way, how Peyz grows and whether T1 can adapt to a new style is another issue entirely. Peyz has excellent potential, don’t overlook him.

Peyz had a great year on JDG, who was only really held back by poor comms with the Korean-Chinese language barrier. He’ll be a good pick up for T1, though I’m surprised they wouldn’t use Smash if Guma was already set on leaving or aim for Viper.

It's truly depressing how there's so much AI development focused on replacing things that bring joy in life. Artists, Musicians, Actors, VO, Casting etc - it's the polar opposite of Sci Fi futures where AI let humans focus on art & passion projects since it handled the drudgery.
