The ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem is happening now! Large Israeli forces entered the Silwan neighborhood today, 25 March, to evict 11 Palestinian families from their homes. Amidst the ongoing illegal and lethal Israeli-American offensive against Iran, Israel is expanding its ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem, throwing Palestinian families into the streets. The eviction of 11 families, marks the continuation of a massive displacement wave: approximately 2,200 people in Silwan are facing an imminent threat of forced displacement, 150 families (1,500 individuals) in al-Bustan and 90 families (700 individuals) in Baten al-Hawa. This is the reality of systematic, institutionalized violence and a clear manifestation of an Israeli policy aimed at engineering the demographic balance and "Judaizing" the neighborhood by exploiting discriminatory laws. These measures are designed to expand Israeli presence and control over one of the most politically and religiously sensitive areas in the region, serving as a crucial component of the broader ethnic cleansing currently unfolding across the West Bank.

Public Statement on the Golders Green Hatzalah Ambulance Attack: In light of the recent antisemitic attack on Hatzalah ambulances in Golders Green, we wish to call out those who attempt to portray a wildly pernicious and disingenuous picture, claiming that this incident is evidence of widespread tension between British Jews and their Muslim neighbors. It is a recurring tactic for Zionists to invoke incidents of antisemitism that were caused by them riding on the name of Jews, and then present it as “organic antisemitism,” as if it is not a backlash to their misrepresentation, which makes Jews vulnerable targets. Violence is never warranted, but we cannot subject our reality to the picture Zionists are hellbent on portraying. The reality stands in contrast to these claims. British Jews live in harmony with their Muslim neighbors. In a letter sent today to 10 Downing Street, the UK’s leading Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations denounced the small number of agitators who allege that Jews and Muslims have an inherent coexistence issue, affirming once again the longstanding peaceful relationships enjoyed within their communities. Jews, Muslims, and Christians across the United Kingdom and elsewhere continue to coexist peacefully, grounded in mutual respect and shared civic life. We reject efforts to exploit this incident, spread fear, and weaponize antisemitism for political ends.

Al Jazeera Arabic turned up in Golders Green, NW London after the arson attacks against the Hatzola ambulances and were eventually booed away by local residents. The female presenter then made the ridicules claim, they were racist. Al Jazeera is the mouthpiece of Hamas and is NOT welcome in the Jewish community.

🚨 The trial of PSC Director Ben Jamal and Stop the War vice-chair Chris Nineham has concluded today and the judge will announce his verdict on April 1st. Defence barrister Mark Summers KC said the case was a “ludicrous invitation to criminalise legitimate protected political speech about the misuse of state power against people’s civil liberties." He described their actions in the run up to the 18 January 2025 Palestine protest as nothing more than those of civic organisations engaging in political campaigning in a democracy. The police imposed conditions which had created widespread public criticism. On previous marches this had led to compromise with the police, but in this instance the police rejected that approach. Letters in support of the protest signed by members of Jewish organisations, Holocaust survivors, journalists, judges, politicians and others were disregarded. Mr Summers emphasised that Chris and Ben were both highly respected movement leaders with a long and extraordinary record of successfully organising some of the biggest demonstrations ever seen in this country. These were all managed in cooperation with the police and in accordance with conditions, even when there was disagreement about them. The court heard again how officers in the control room and on the ground were operating in complete ignorance of the flower delegation plan announced from the stage - that a small group would walk to the BBC to lay flowers or if stopped by police, lay them at the feet of police. This was a sensible, symbolic proposal to go some way towards achieving the original objective of the protest. It could only have succeeded with police permission and was not an unlawful intention. At the police cordons the delegation clearly understood they had been permitted to proceed through police lines, being told on one police bodycam “You’ve got to filter through.” There was no communication to the contrary and no reason to to believe that the police were instructing them to do something unlawful. Met Commander Slonecki acknowledged in his evidence that existing police conditions were subject to ad hoc changes on the ground as necessary. On the incitement charge against Ben Jamal, Mr Summers said that he “engaged in the very opposite of inciting people into a criminal breach of the conditions imposed by the police”. His criticism of the repression of the right to protest by the police was entirely legitimate and not an encouragement to break the law. The flower delegation represented “legitimate grievances channeled into a powerful, lawful act of political expression and symbolism.” Mr Summers ended by saying that the incitement charge was “utterly hopeless and you must acquit”.
