My only issue with this quote (other than LR might’ve forgotten who his vice captain is) is that it’s been reported with a sense of controversy. This isn’t a controversial view - in fact it doesn’t go far enough.

The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today. Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together. However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary. @jaredMansah Yeah you’re just judging stats - which are relevant. When you’re talking about GOAT matters, more things have to be factored in - well for me anyway.
