My only issue with this quote (other than LR might’ve forgotten who his vice captain is) is that it’s been reported with a sense of controversy. This isn’t a controversial view - in fact it doesn’t go far enough.

I don't think people realise - they say it as a throwaway line, but it hurts. You have to hit the Clubs by taking off points and money from them, otherwise it will keep on going. 🚨 NEW: "The UK has been colonised by immigrants," Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has told @EdConwaySky. “You can't have an economy with nine million people on benefits and huge levels of immigrants coming in,” he said. “I mean, the UK has been colonised. It’s costing too much money. “The UK has been colonised by immigrants, really, hasn't it? I mean, the population of the UK was 58 million in 2020, now it's 70 million. The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today. Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together. However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary. Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. @jaredMansah Yeah you’re just judging stats - which are relevant. When you’re talking about GOAT matters, more things have to be factored in - well for me anyway.
