1/2 Today is #RedDressDay, a day to honour #MMIWG2S+. Inspired by Jamie Black, a Métis artist from Manitoba who hung hundreds of red dresses to represent #MMIWG, this day raises awareness about the disproportionate violence that Indigenous women, girls, & 2SLGBTQ+ people face.

Delivering opening remarks at the Annual Peer Works Conference this morning was truly a pleasure. This two-day conference will create spaces for attendees to engage in ethical peer support training, information sessions and amplify marginalized youth voices.
