Statelessness is a bit of a misnomer. I propose B.Y.O.S (bring your own state).

One click approve and swap needs to be available everywhere, not an exclusive feature for a wallet’s in app swapper like in @Rabby_io @MetaMask and @CoinbaseWallet It can be done with EIP-5792 support at the wallet level RT this for awareness cc @WilsonCusack
mendru@El_Mendru

@0xngmi And this is why I usually use @Rabby_io for swapping/bridging for small amounts. Glad to pay the 0.25% fee and bundle the approve/swap in 1 tx

everyone waiting for 7702 to fix the approve-swap UX of evm but imo this is already fixable for hot wallets at the wallet level simply introduce a new api for dapps to request multiple txs and then just broadcast the 2 txs can even be atomic with flashbots/sequencer api

@lightclients There's a place for fast informal communication, and a place for slow and considered communication. IMO it depends on group size, level of detail, expected responsiveness, and probably a lot more things.

Does instant messaging degrade communication quality and overall friendliness? I wonder if the default mode was something slower and longer form, like emails or forum posts, whether quality and tone would improve.

Biggest impact is Ethereum not fragmenting (further) and applications being built on interoperable standards. There's no silver bullet to get there, but dozens of small things to continuously improve so that people feel the process is functional and _want_ to create ERCs.
Ⓧ🄷❸🄱④🆂Ⓓ@xh3b4sd

@TimBeiko @antiprosynth Why would we want ERCs to be ten times better? What effect or impact would that realistically have?

Okay, I have figured it out. Repl driven dev where you have a separate terminal and run things in the repl sucks. Good repl driven dev you just hit like <leader>Enter over a snippet and it runs. It's basically jupyter notebooks, and it's amazing.

PSA: Every web3 RPC service that takes privacy seriously should be looking at OHTTPS to disassociate wallet addresses from IP addresses and wallets should be doing the same

@peter_szilagyi I think I've misunderstood the "ETH is money" statement for an embarrassingly long time. I always interpreted it as "ETH is money, not an investment." What's the proper interpretation?

#Ethereum needs builders to thrive, and most in the world won't give a damn about the "ETH is money" narrative, rather they are appalled by it. My conviction is that whatever platform prioritises tech principles will win out in the end. That said, money does buy good builders.
Evan Van Ness@evan_van_ness

How do you reconcile the fact that I say most ETH OGs knew that ETH is money but @peter_szilagyi says "none of the OGs wanted ETH to be money" I think he's probably right that there was a crowd in Berlin and some early devs who didn't understand that ETH was money Basically everyone else disagreed Btw, it's pretty odd to think that ETH isn't money. From the start the goal was to make a much better, more scalable, more programmable, much more decentralized Bitcoin. Basically, better internet money. P2P electronic cash, if you will

@abcoathup Spoke mostly about CAIP-10, CAIP-25, CAIP-27, and how they relate to chain-specific addresses and EIP-5792.
