@__NotKG @philmoneymanagr Yeah, start applying and talking to people. A lot of people looking for competent and reliable help. It's a rare industry where you have a lot of big chain companies and a lot of small locally owned businesses.

@__NotKG @philmoneymanagr Tbh, I wouldn’t worry about that, if you have the available funds and time, just focus on getting the training and getting certified… it feels like being certified in a trade will only continue to get more valuable in the future

@ML_BBN @philmoneymanagr i’m in eastern ky and most of the hvac work around here are family owned companies. idk if that works in my favor or not, especially since i know nothing about it

@__NotKG @philmoneymanagr A lot depends on where you live too… there’s a lot of rural areas that are struggling to find certified help

@__NotKG Folks tend to overstate last year‘s team’s shooting prowess: 37.1% vs 34% this year.

If we go into next season without 4-5 capable shooters on the roster then Mark Pope has completely lost the plot. He over compensated for last year and it didn’t work. There is a nice middle ground in there that gives him an opportunity to be successful.

Aside from him, though— if you’re talking reliable enforcer, imposing physicality, and an athleticism upgrade, it’s really only Mo. Kam as a lengthy- jumper? Elsewhere just thin and lacking explosion / punch.

Florida just has a miracle cocktail of big men that cover up all their flaws. Not sure how Golden will ever be able to replicate what he’s had the last 2 years.

yeah we missed on those guys but they weren’t the only ones with those skill sets (Yaxel probably the outlier because he’s a freak). if he wanted shooting and on the wing/guard he could’ve gotten it. true. they didn’t even do that correctly lololol. i just hope they find the middle ground.

@__NotKG I think we did, not so much a “regardless of skill/shooting” Yaxel was a great combination of both at the 4. We still tried to get the best shooter in the portal. Problem is we didn’t even get all that athletic/physical.

@MattSakR2NG maybe i’m wrong but i think we had a clear goal to get more physical/athletic regardless of what we sacrificed skill wise. maybe im singing a different tune if some of the pieces stay healthy, but on paper i think it’s kinda clear that’s what happened.

@__NotKG I’m not sure we overcompensated as much as just missed on guys. Which might be worse.
