@LoSkillDev Absolutely, good call. If I add it, there will be an option to disable it!

@woodydrn Awesome! And thanks so much for the feedback, it's super helpful. The UI scaling has been mentioned and is definitely a problem for larger screens (espec 4k). Also, moving the menus would be cool, I'll look into how much work it would be.

@__rick________ Looks really good, I downloaded it and tried it out. Very nice, pixelated graphics, I like it! Very cozy game :) Few things: 1. Would be nice to move menus around, and have it remember the position. 2. A setting for UI size, it gets kind of hard to read the text on large screen.

In Settler's Domain, you start out with a few settlers surviving off wild resources. As your settlement grows, you research better structures, explore the map, and annex other settlements. My goal is to make a game with a cozy atmosphere and strategic choices. #indiegame #gamedev #indiedev

I'm making a relaxed settlement building game that still requires thoughtful and strategic choices. - Research and build 70+ structures - Grow your population and keep them alive - Explore the map and annex other settlements It's called Settler's Domain. Would you play this?

@corysimmons123 Yeah that was my other thought, start in the middle. That's how the game starts too (reveals the fog from the center of the screen). Hahaha I like the grey!! But yeah, maybe I could experiment. It is boring, but I'm aiming for legibility over anything else with the UI.

@__rick________ I'd start in the middle of the domain and then reveal outwards. Can you change the UI bg from the most dull gray imaginable to anything else? Like even some blue mixed in? Otherwise looks really clean and fun. Civ vibes for sure

I'm developing Settler's Domain, a strategy settlement-building game on a map with NPC settlements. If another settlement's opinion of you reaches 1000, you can Annex them. It's a big deal! Thoughts on this "animation"? #gamedev #citybuilder #indiegame

@waltonoemi Interesting, maybe the pink is a bit too red. Here is a sample of autumn:

Spring before and after! Added this new color palette for spring. Top is before (it's also the summer palette). I'm working on a settlement-building game with four seasons, and I want each to have its own visual identity. Is it spring-y enough? #gamedev #pixelart #indiegame

@estebanfeldman Thanks!! I haven't played Worldbox, but Worldbox sounds like it's much more of a simulation game. Settler's Domain is more strategy, having to keep your settlers alive and making choices on how to expand your settlement.
