Two years ago today @ThePlagueNFT was born. We minted 11,000 Frogs for $100 each. We gave ZERO WL to influencers or KOLs, and ZERO WL to alpha groups. In fact, nearly every WL we gave away was randomly picked from Twitter posts. This was a different kind of mint. After mint we bought back 275 and burned them. For the culture. So today there are 10,725 Frogs. Nearly 400 projects have had more secondary volume than we have had. The majority of all of those projects had a higher mint price. And most of them are now dead. But we are still here. We are still here furthering our core mission, which is to create a widely recognized Web3 brand that "decentralizes opportunity" for its holders. And we have been doing just that. Since mint we have given away hundreds of thousands of dollars. - To charity - To help individuals in our community - In giveaways We have helped others launch their own projects. Both inside and outside of our @TheFrogTank process. Many Frogs have landed jobs and/or forged great friendships because of our community. We have also tried many things that have failed. But we are still here. Over the coming weeks we will deliver on the items many Frogs have been waiting for us to roll-out. Some of them are long overdue. I am excited to finally announce... Wanted: Western World 7777 piece collection -5555 PFPs -2222 Action Scenes The PFPs are created in the traditional generative layer trait process with a [redacted] number of unique models. The detailed, illustrative style of these pieces is next level and created by leading Western artist Igor Jacob with the support of generative pros, me and the Howdy team. The PFP are the main focus, but the Wild West is about action so we are including 2222 unique expansive scenes that will be a mix of hand drawn and AI generated in the same style as the PFPs to bring our Wanted: Western World alive. So many examples and details will be shared, but to address questions about access to this Howdy ecosystem project and so everyone is on the same page... To obtain WL to this collection, $Howdy will be needed in almost all circumstances. Please note that meeting these requirements only gets you on the designated WL to mint Wanted: Western World. One mint per wallet per WL period. If you meet all three WL criteria you can mint 1 per WL. All HOWDY submitted for WL will be burned by the team. Once in the WL you will still have to pay the mint price of .33 SOL per Wanted. Half of the mint price is going to buyback and burn Howdy. WL1 Early supporters and champions -10k Howdy to a specified address we will provide in next week -Maintain 100k Howdy balance through all future snapshots and have 120012 HOWDY in your wallet for the first snapshot that was just made at 2PM ET, 25 minutes ago roughly. WL2 - Will be capped -20k Howdy a specific address that will be announced -Maintain set of all 4 hats through snapshots or 300,000 Howdy maintained through all snapshots -First snapshot to quality will be a week from today WL3 - Uncapped to mint level minus reserves -30K Howdy to specified address that will be announced -Hold 1 hat through all snapshots or be on community WL list -First individual hat snapshot will be two weeks from today There will be very few free drops of Wanted. The two current designations are... Those who champion Howdy. We have several raid groups and many independent meme creators and advocates. We will have an application process tied to Twitter (and Farcaster) activity and use our most active users to help vet a group of 50-100 people each receiving two mints in the week after mint. All accounts holdings 1M or more Howdy right now, will independently receive one free Wanted airdropped to them per 1M held in the week after mint from a mint reserve. This is assuming they still hold their current balance of HOWDY or higher two days before mint (so we can plan the reserve accordingly) and at the time of the airdrop post mint. This is an all or nothing designation to reward the larger holders of HOWDY, while not making their supply dominate during the first week. We reserve the right to make changes to these conditions based on market interest including adding different ways to quality for a given WL, but we will honor all of the above once the first snapshot is taken for any WL. We anticipate the burn of HOWDY to be in the 150-200M range for Wanted WL premint AND 1000+ SOL equivalent with 50% of mint funds used for buy/burn.
