I’m naturally a loner even with my own family. I prefer being in my own space and I don’t like being in anyone’s face. I’m clingy when I love someone but the distance I can give people is unreal.
Never ignore the efforts of someone who tries to stay in touch. I can tell you, a lot of people really don’t care about you. When someone remembers to text, call, or catch up, give them your attention. Not everyone cares that much.
There’s absolutely nothing more pleasing than watching yourself do the things you said you’d do. I really value honoring the promises I’ve made to myself.
“Friends” who compete with you, embarrass you publicly, belittle your thoughts or opinions, discuss your business with others, make you feel inferior, and generally drag you down are not your friends. They are toxic and quite frankly, your enemy.
I love low-maintenance friendships. Everyone lives their own life, days go by without talking, but loyalty stays even from a distance. When you get together, it’s always great.
