The reason there’s so much outrage about Utah and not other NBA tankers?
GAMBLING.
Bettors know if players are being DNP’d and can adjust.
They CANT adjust when players randomly sit the final quarter.
And the NBA will respond.

So they’re going to fine a team who hasn’t played for a title since 97, has never picked 1st overall, got screwed in the lottery last season & haven’t made the playoffs since 22’ all because they sat some players but still won 2 games?

Ivica Zubac will not be making his Pacers debut anytime soon due to a lingering ankle issue. Indiana plans to be very precautious with Zubac, especially with incentive to bottom out the rest of the year. Indiana will keep their pick if they maintain a top-4 spot post-lottery.
