@PatrickCob93852 Medical doctors in our setting do conduct research. In fact, more than 75% of Ghanaian medical doctors don’t have Ph.D.s or honorary doctorates, so what’s your point?

1. Yes, medical doctors do research. Have you ever heard of medical fellowships? Read more about them. Fellows and even some members conduct Ph.D.-level research that’s clinically-oriented. 2. No, it doesn’t take only medical doctors to advise on health. Doctors make up only a small fraction of the health workforce. Every qualified health professional can advise on health issues as their training and scope of practice determine. 3. She didn’t get her information from any peer-reviewed studies. In fact, she presented her claims as personal views. Have you watched the interview? The issue is some of these 2-by-4 journalists and bloggers who’re spreading misinformation that she carried out research work. 4. Yes, I “searched” for a peer-reviewed article or any highly regarded scientific paper that affirms her claims. But I found NONE! 5. What about you?

This is OVERLY simplistic. Every legal system anywhere around the world is influenced by external factors one way or another, including politics. Ghanaian courts have ruled against presidents in their official capacities in several landmark cases, typically via suits against the Attorney General representing the executive. 1. President Akufo-Addo directed Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo to proceed on terminal leave in 2020, citing the Labour Act. The Supreme Court ruled this unconstitutional on May 31, 2023, as it violated the Auditor-General’s institutional and functional independence under Articles 187 and 296. 2. President Kufuor appointed a committee to investigate a petition for Chief Justice Edward Sowah’s removal. The Supreme Court unanimously declared this unconstitutional in 2006, ruling a prima facie case by the Council of State was required first under Article 146(6). Just to name a few.

What i like about the US is, their court is COMPLETELY free from external influence. Ghana has been asking for Ken for so long and the Judge could just deny it. They don’t care about the foreign government requesting for him. They can even rule against their own president and throw out his tarrifs. But here’s in Ghana, it feels very different. I haven’t seen a sitting government lose a case in court tho.

Let’s Talk Abu Trica. 1. Abu Trica was set up by an FBI informant who approached him saying that he was expecting some 50,000 dollars. And that Abu Trica should help find a bank account for them to transfer the money into. 2. His share would be 13,000 dollars if he found an account. 3. Abu Trica went around asking different people because he thought he was making 13,000 dollars. 4. Someone gave him an account which he gave to the FBI undercover agents. 5. And he was paid 13,000 dollars. 6. This is the entire evidence the FBI provided. When Abu was arrested, the FBI came to him to give them the name of the person whose account it was. 7. Abu didn’t. Before the matter went to court, they had EOCO Issue a press statement claiming that Abu had scammed people of 8 million dollars. 8. There is no 8 million usd anywhere. We are here because of 13,000 dollars. 9. Now Abu was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud. 10. We presented the magistrate with 80 pages of legal argument, tracing the history of the Extradition Treaty, showing that the offence of conspiracy is not an extraditable offence. 11. Now, the matter is under appeal, so I won’t say more than that. Except that in my whole life I have never met a judge so eager to extradite a person before. Complete refusal to follow due process. Her mind was made up, from day 1. 12. The truth is Out of 200 requests Ghanaian has received, all 200 have been extradited by our courts. 200-0 oo. 13. If our Courts are willing to follow the law, not be afraid of America; Abu’s case will be 200-1. Shalom

An indictment, whether by grand jury or otherwise, is just a formal accusation to initiate criminal proceedings. It doesn’t really mean guilt has been proven. Under US law, everyone charged remains innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a trial. If his appeal fails, he’ll enter US federal court for arraignment, discovery, and potentially a plea or trial. And these outcomes could take months or years.

@alukyi he's already been indicted in a US court with concrete evidence, this is onky going to play out only in a US court. EOCO and FBI don't operate like that they're not going spill details just like that. Oliver is probably pushing this for the hype

I have a question. Looking at this case, the whole government is bent of extraditing him to prove they do not condone internet fraud. In this case, is there really any judge anywhere that could stop this extradition? Because I feel there’re so many powerful people influencing the judge’s decision and regardless or what you submit, they already have their mind made up. How do we ensure the court is 100% independent and truly fair? In the US, a judge can even rule against the president. In Ghana, i doubt any judge would dare do that. How’s the court actually fair in it’s cases, I’m really confused on how fairness is ensured in Ghanaian courts.

Personally, I believe everyone has the right to sue the state for alleged unlawful arrests and other such violations of human rights. We can only strengthen our legal system by not being intimidated by the state. However, your point that his suit mayn’t have augured well with the authorities is real. But I don’t think it’s good for us to be scared of pursuing legal actions against the state due to fear of being targeted by state powers.

This week the Supreme Court of Finland convicted Christian parliamentarian Dr. Päivi Räsänen of “hate speech” under “war crimes and crimes against humanity” section of their criminal code for a booklet she co-authored over 20 years ago on the biblical view of sexuality: Male and Female He Created Them. The Court also ordered that the booklet be removed from public access and destroyed. This should cause great alarm for anyone who values democratic freedoms, including freedom of speech. Thank you @ADFIntl for defending her. Pray for Päivi and others fighting for our rights to share biblical truth with the world. Leave a word of encouragement for her in the comments below. christianpost.com/news/finnish-m…

These are some thoughtful questions, IMO. I wish @barkervogues would respond to them. I maintain that being tried for extradition doesn’t in and of itself mean that the suspect is guilty of a crime. An extradition proceeding simply means the crime the suspect is being accused of is also considered in the jurisdiction where they are being extradited from. In this, the judge agreed that the charges against the suspect are criminal offenses in Ghana and extraditable under the extradition treaty between Ghana and the US. He could be extradited and acquitted in the US based on how strongly his defense team presents its case.

If you read the charge sheet, there are almost 9 other charges bordering on wire fraud, money laundering, romance scam etc. Are you saying none of these charges is true? Also, an extradition does not mean he’s going straight into a US penitentiary so if he’s clean, don’t you think he could fight it there? Also, per the court proceeding, his accomplice who was later arrested played a huge role in tracing all the alleged crimes! So how is it possible that the FBI would waste precious time and resources to present a list to the government in 2021 and spend close to a million chasing $13K? That is not how it works. Also, if the appeal is strong enough, don’t you think buying public sympathy is not as prudent as proving all for his in court?

Most strokes (about 85%) are ischemic, meaning. They occur when a blood clot or fatty material blocks an artery that supplies the brain, often due to: 1. Atherosclerosis (fatty, cholesterol‑rich plaques narrowing brain or neck arteries). 2. Blood clots that form in the heart (for example, in atrial fibrillation) and travel to the brain (embolic stroke). About 15% of strokes are hemorrhagic, caused by a blood vessel in the brain rupturing. Common triggers include: 1. Long‑standing or very high blood pressure that weakens small brain arteries. 2. Brain aneurysms, vascular malformations, head trauma, or certain blood‑vessel diseases. Several health conditions and lifestyle habits make a stroke much more likely: High blood pressure, diabetes, high “bad” cholesterol, and atrial fibrillation. Smoking, obesity, physical inactivity, heavy alcohol use, and past transient ischemic attacks (mini‑strokes). Stroke warning signs usually come on suddenly, and the faster you act, the better the chance of limiting brain damage. Remembering FAST (or BE‑FAST) helps you spot the most common signs quickly. Key warning signs (FAST/BE‑FAST): 1. F – Face drooping: One side of the face droops or feels numb; ask the person to smile and see if it looks uneven. 2. A – Arm weakness: One arm (or leg) is suddenly weak or numb; when asked to raise both arms, one arm may drift down. 3. S – Speech problems: Speech is slurred, strange, or the person can’t form clear sentences. 4. B – Balance/Vision (BE‑FAST): Sudden loss of balance, dizziness, or trouble seeing in one or both eyes. 5. T – Time to call help: If any one of these signs appears, call emergency services immediately.

“A North East colorectal surgeon, Mr James Royle, reported what he described as a dramatic shift in cancer patterns with younger patients presenting with late-stage, aggressive disease. “According to his evidence, cancers that were once typically diagnosed early in older patients are now appearing at advanced stages in people in their 20s and 30s, alongside increased clotting and inflammation. “Such biological changes, including chronic inflammation and micro-clotting, are known to contribute to cancer spread.”

To improve insulin sensitivity, focus on regular exercise, weight management, and dietary adjustments. Exercise 30 minutes most days. Combine aerobic and resistance training to enhance muscle sugar uptake. Lose modest excess weight. Target belly fat through sustainable calorie control. Eat soluble fiber-rich foods (oats, beans), colorful produce, low-glycemic carbs, and cut sugars/refined carbs. Try short post-meal walks.

They’ve sworn that the Americans and the British are their enemies who work against their countries’ sovereignty and development. Yet, if you ask 10 of them to choose between an American or British visa and a Chinese or Russian one, 9 would choose the former, though they claim the latter are friends of Africa.
