this is arguably the most violent thing Matts done and they literally slow down the scene so you can revel in the violence. i know its a superhero show and obviously you want to see the main character do cool shit, but the og show was able to say elevate it past just aura moments

another thing that’s been bugging me about Born Again is it’s borderline edgy violence. Matt’s most graphic moments in the og show were always questioned, is he a hero or is this an excuse to beat the shit out of people?, while in BA it’s played purely for hype moments and aura
