Utilities will spend $50M on a substation upgrade before spending $10K on equipment that gives them access to your EV battery.⁣ ⁣ That battery in your garage could be powering the grid during peak demand instead of another substation nobody wanted.⁣ ⁣ The lack of imagination from utilities is hard to stomach.

One final overtime stat (unless I think of more)... In tiebreakers, when a wrestler won the coin toss and took bottom, they went 9-7. When they deferred, they went 3-6. In other words, the wrestler who took down first went 15-10, winning 60% of the matches. It's a small sample size, but you might not want to defer the coin toss. In fact, the NFL changed their overtime rules because with the old rules the team that won the coin toss was winning the game 61% of the time, and that was deemed unfair.

Not a loud storyline from this weekend, but an awesome & rare one: @PackWrestle's Isaac Trumble, who was undefeated on the year, and shut out #1 Yonger Bastida in the Finals to win his NCAA title, will be commissioned in the Army in May. Having been a member of NC State's ROTC program, he will look to begin his career in the U.S. Army Infantry as a field artillery officer. Gotta love & appreciate that! Wrestling is good at every division. D1 is obviously the elite of the elite, but I’ve seen many transfers drop down a division & not even start. Glazier is an animal, but so are a lot of these full time D2 & 3 guys.

College wrestling is tough, regardless of division. Zach Glazier is a Big 10 Champ with a tight loss to Aaron Brooks. Didn’t win D2 nationals. I also watched a PA state champ and Cornell transfer miss the podium at D3 nationals today.

@Waksman84 New reactors take 10+ years. If "imported fossil fuels" is a reference to oil, most oil is used for vehicle transport. Not electricity generation. Fastest way to drop oil consumption is electric vehicles, charged with solar and wind.

I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but the fastest way to eliminate reliance on imported fossil fuels is to build nuclear reactors.
