I was laid off today from the Washington Post along with many, many talented colleagues. It’s been a joy and privilege to serve as China correspondent, and cover everything from the trade war to Taiwanese organized crime to robots. I hope to continue doing this work.

It’s hard to believe the leading child actor in #Adolescence had no experience before this series. He does an excellent job.

One thing that didn't happen in TikTok's court case was the disclosure of the classified evidence that the U.S. government has against the app, the evidence that's likely to be more than hypothetical.
Members of Congress have seen it, but the judges decided to discard it.

@aaronMCN My first visit to 🇮🇱 and 🇵🇸 was in 1997 (watched the HK handover in E Jerusalem).
Several times in the WB I saw the IDF curse when aware an outside witness was present - and they’d have to tone down the everyday brutality a bit.
🇮🇪 recognizes what decency - and cruelty is.

My first visit to Israel was in 2018. Everyone I met treated me hospitably without asking about my nationality or my politics.
The differences between our governments obviously aren’t going to be solved soon. I just hope that doesn’t prevent us from treating each other decently.
