Not sure what to make of the war with Iran. The threat of closing the Strait of Hormuz has always been anticipated in any conflict with Iran. To initiate a conflict knowing what the reaction is going to be but having no response for it doesn’t seem right. Something is fishy with all of this. Iran was facing a water shortage, currency collapse and internal unrest. Their government is rife with collaborators. Their air defenses were ineffective. How did they last 4 months? The US could’ve ended this war in weeks. Perhaps, the goal wasn’t to destroy Iran to begin with. If not that, then what?

Congratulations to the Knicks, but can we have a serious conversation? A championship parade on the same day as Regents exams feels like a setup. NYC students have worked all year for these tests. Move the parade to Friday. The city will still celebrate.
