My PSA numbers were never high but my medical professional noticed some other factors and recommended additional testing. That testing located cancer and the need for action.

My wife passed away this morning at 3:30am with her hand in mine. After being diagnosed with lupus a few weeks ago, my wife passed out in the Newark airport on her way home on December 26. I would have lost her then had my brother in-law not been traveling back to the states with her.  I took the next flight up from Charlotte, and was with her in the ICU. She was in transitioned to a normal room, which kept us all in high spirits. She had a minor operation due tomorrow, but unfortunately, she did not make it to the sunrise. I didn’t know she was about to transition, but I slept in the hospital rooms with her and was able to speak to, and sing to her just about 30 minutes before she passed.  She always talked about the day when she would finally hear the applause of Heaven for the life she lived. That day is today. No other words to offer at the moment except please keep the Washington and Meshoe family in your prayers.

The Holocaust survivor who lost both of his grandchildren on Oct7, has passed away 💔 The family of Yosef Wiener was wiped out in the Holocaust, but he survived and moved to Israel. On Oct. 7th, he lost his grandson Yahav, his granddaughter Hadar, and her husband Itai. He wrote before he died: “My name is Yosef, I am 97 years old, and I survived the Nazis barbaric hell. My entire family was eradicated. Almost drowning, drained and in despair I moved to Zion to plant my roots back in my land and hold on to it. But suddenly, from beyond the fences, the evil emerged again on the 7th of October. The terrifying sights of fire and ash, the killing and murder of innocents, reached my family. Once again, I find myself utterly drained, in despair, drowning.” May their memory be a blessing 💔

Our constant source of laughter. When Alexander died, the silence was unbearable. F was only just talking. In time, he & Isabelle filled our house with giggles again. A new soundtrack, still missing a melody but a different joy. We miss her touch, her sound, how she made us feel.
