By the grace of Almighty God.
At 2:00pm today, I'll register as a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The Kaduna State ADC Chairman, Alh Ahmed Tijjani will receive me today, at the Kwarbai "A" ward office of the ADC, in Zaria.
If you're willing to attend, you can join us at our family house residence No141 Kwarbai, gidan Sardaunan Zazzau, Late Dr Muhammadu Jumare.
Thank you all.
Yesterday, I led a delegation of friends, political associates and my children, to Mamukan a small community in Jada.
Their once shepherd boy, just like me, is rising from a very humble background rooted in traditional family values of respect and trust to put Mamukan on the global map. That is why I have strong belief that anyone can rise from zero to hero, Insha Allah.
Prof. Ahmed Shehu (Pullo Jada) is not only intellectually sound, and resourceful, but also of good character. He has just earned the traditional title of Chiroma Nyibango, Jada District and I couldn't be left out in the celebration.
Prof. Ahmed is family. He is more than an aide. He is not only a resilient young man but also sagacious, and I told the people of Mamukan that his story is just starting.
Congratulations, Chiroma Nyibango. -AA
Yesterday evening, I received a high-powered European Union delegation, including the Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E Gautier Mignot.
The delegation led by Barry Andrews, a member of the European Parliament, who was also Head of the 2023 EU- Election Observation Mission to Nigeria, is engaging in broad-based conversation on the future of Nigerian elections.
This visit is a follow-up mission to see the level of implementation of a set of recommendations made by the team following the 2023 General elections.
Expectations are high that the Independent National Electoral Commission will urgently work with the National Assembly to give citizens election laws that guarantee transparent and credible elections, where every vote counts.
It is worrisome that two years down the line, we are yet to see indications that INEC is committed to an improved electoral process.
Meanwhile, we shall continue to support efforts by CSOs, local and foreign Election Observations Missions (EOMs), including the EU-EOM, that will lead to genuine electoral reforms ahead of the 2027 General elections.
We believe that only through credible elections shall we safeguard our democracy and recruit leaders that will ensure unity and economic prosperity of Nigeria. -AA
Atiku Abubakar appreciation post.
I was among the people that received appreciation text from His excellency @atiku Abubakar today. This is a sign that Atiku means business and is ready to carry along people from different age groups, ethnicity and religious backgrounds.
Allah ya cika maga buri daddy.
Today, my Principal Secretary, Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Zango, led a delegation of my aides to the service of songs for the late Mr. Jerry Mamman Vampa. The tributes at the event were a confirmation that Jerry was truly a rare gem. -AA
The declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State reeks of political manipulation and outright bad faith.
Anyone paying attention to the unfolding crisis knows that Bola Tinubu has been a vested partisan actor in the political turmoil engulfing Rivers. His blatant refusal or calculated negligence in preventing this escalation is nothing short of disgraceful.
Beyond the political scheming in Rivers, the brazen security breaches that led to the condemnable destruction of national infrastructure in the state land squarely on the President’s desk.
Tinubu cannot evade responsibility for the chaos his administration has either enabled or failed to prevent.
It is an unforgivable failure that under Tinubu’s watch, the Niger Delta has been thrown back into an era of violent unrest and instability — undoing the hard-won peace secured by the late President Umaru Yar’Adua. Years of progress have been recklessly erased in pursuit of selfish political calculations.
If federal infrastructure in Rivers has been compromised, the President bears full responsibility. Punishing the people of Rivers State just to serve the political gamesmanship between the governor and @officialABAT’s enablers in the federal government is nothing less than an assault on democracy and must be condemned in the strongest terms. -AA
Your Excellency, Gov. Umar Namadi, @uanamadi.
I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your eldest son, Abdulwahab, barely 24 hours after the passing of your beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
The twin tragedies - the loss of a mother and your first fruit - is heartbreaking.
The pain of losing a child — especially one as promising and beloved as Abdulwahab — is a grief no parent should ever have to endure.
Equally, your mother, as the matriarch of your family, must have been a source of wisdom, strength, and love. Losing her creates an irreplaceable void. I pray that the legacy of her virtues brings you solace.
As you navigate this dark and challenging time, may Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, grant you and your family the strength to bear these losses. May He welcome their souls into Aljannah Firdaus and surround your family with His divine comfort and peace.
You are not alone in your grief, my dear brother. My thoughts and prayers and those of my family are with you and all yours in this moment of grief. -AA
I am deeply grateful to @ShehuAA, @Rasheethe, and @Mo_Atiku for giving me the opportunity to present my perfume brand to His Excellency @atiku, along with the new collection, “Damanga Waziri.” I’m thrilled that he appreciated it and offered his support.
