Mount Whitney was magical! Xander and I hiked through the snow for 18 miles to 13,600ft, in the dark, heard avalanches, and scaled The Chute: 45 degrees up, 0.6miles long, over 2 hours, with snow over our knees. Made it to the ridge crest, and returned safely. #grateful
