A PCORI-funded RCT compared 2 school-based programs for preventing cavities: 1️⃣ Standard program: sealant and a fluoride varnish 2️⃣ New program: topical silver diamine fluoride and a fluoride varnish The study found the new program took less time than the standard program and could be performed effectively by school nurses.
