@AFClife14 @SouthStandPies The stand isn’t even open yet.
English

@SouthStandPies Don’t look at their home stadium in the upper tier ….
For last weeks game..
More posters than fans
English

The most successful team in England in the last ten years and there were 10,000 empty Man City seats at Wembley.
And that’s after they gave some to Southampton!
Embarrassing.
#MNCSOT

English

@nufcpb @Liamkirk05 They also flew to Manchester a couple of weeks ago 🤔
English

Flying from Manchester to Newcastle should be a criminal offence

The #ManCity squad have now landed in Newcastle ahead of tonight’s #EmiratesFACup fifth round tie at St James’ Park. 🛬✅

@acschofield15 So you've said,got memory problems too?
I'm all for public prayer/preaching whatever you want actually.
What I'm not for is the hypocrisy that not all prayer/religion is equal.
Really hope the next star player is an Orthodox Jew who can't do Sat aft games, what'll the PL do?🤔😏
English

@Jayne70302874 @QcWynter You are boring me not Ramadan.
English

@acschofield15 @QcWynter Facts re Ramadan fasting are boring when they don't suit you?🙄
Yes,there is a 'performance' to blessing yourself etc in sport-but it doesn't involve the whole game being stopped.
The whole thing is so ironic in a country that has made silent prayer illegal in some UK streets 😏
English

@Jayne70302874 @QcWynter 😴 you are boring me now, a Christian player dropped to his knees last night at the end of the game and said a prayer. Is that a performance too. I would say no it isn’t it’s someone following their beliefs not giving a performance, just like taking a few sips of water.
English

@acschofield15 @QcWynter It's pure performance.
The rules of Islam even allow you to skip fasting if there's an issue with work/travel & you make it up after Ramadan. So players could miss a day when they have a match.
But then nobody would see them & they& their religion would get no attention 🙄😏
English

@Jayne70302874 @QcWynter The game was stopped for a minute, last night the game was stopped for players pretending to be injured to waste time. I don’t hear you or anyone else crying about that. It was a drink of water.
English

@acschofield15 @QcWynter Eh?
The entire game was stopped.
Thousands of fans in the stands.
It's entirely performative, 'look at us'.
There are exemptions in their rules,I lived in S Arabia for 5yrs & know that for a fact.
The giant screen even said the stoppage was for the 'Holy month of Ramadan'🤔😬
English

@realrikkidoolan I really don’t think the whole world stopped yesterday at 5.42pm when three men playing football broke their fast for 60 seconds at most. No advantage gained by any team and no disadvantage either.
English

We as Christians, we also fast quite regularly, but don’t expect the whole world to stop for our fasting.
The Muslim players should either not play, if they are not strong enough, or wait until the half time break.
Simple really.
Rikki Doolan@realrikkidoolan
Britain is a Christian country. No English Premier League match should be stopping for players to break a fast of a foreign religion. The fans rightly booed.
English

@KevinMc11965049 @larterlia1957 @beverleyturner @JayneJa4050 Clearly you have little knowledge, breaking their fast is at sunset that includes eating and drinking. Respect diversity we are all human beings no matter what colour your skin is or what religion you follow. Have some respect.
English

@acschofield15 @larterlia1957 @beverleyturner @JayneJa4050 If they were allowed to drink the could have drank at any time before during or after.
English

Omg....
Once we accommodate Muslim traditions like this into our cultural infrastructure, there will never be any going back.
It's as though the decision-makers WANT to cause national division.
Weak leadership creates uncertainty and fear.
Fear creates anger.
Anger creates violence.
Where are the bloody adults?

🚨NEW: There was loud boos and whistles when the Leeds vs Man City game was paused to allow Muslim players to break their fast for Ramadan [@Daily_Express]
English

@larterlia1957 @beverleyturner @JayneJa4050 The sun didn’t set until after the match had kicked off. It was stopped for a minimal amount of time.
English

@beverleyturner @JayneJa4050 They could have broke their fast before game started anyway but they like the attention too much!

English

@unitedhan All I can see is your monstrosity of a finger

Another one who forgot to ask about 115…

English

@davemorrow64 I don’t remember the weather being that good this week 🤣🤣
English

@JamesHarvey2503 There are no 24 hour NHS dentist’s no matter where ever you come from.
English

@Eltel1060 @mcfc9320group We lost a game that’s it, yes they didn’t have the best game but they are all young kids, they will learn from the mistakes that’s it. They don’t need 60 year supporters criticising them no one is delusional, last week we were winning the treble. Who were the happy clappers then
English

@mcfc9320group So as 60 year supporters we aren't allowed to criticise ridiculous self made mistakes! Trafford, Bobb and Lewis were dreadful or we can live in the delusional happy clappers world and win FA! Sorry for the hurty words! 😔😢... It is what it is! 🤮
