The question I hate most at conventions is "are you having fun?" I'm not at a fun event. Maybe you are, but I'm at work. I'm aware that any time I'm outside my hotel room, I'm at work.

If you felt bad for retail workers being forced to go into dangerous conditions at work earlier in the pandemic but are now angry with full-time artists trying to make a living going to infrequent large events and otherwise staying at home between, maybe think about that further.
