Again, this is genuinely disheartening. We really still believe in the project and are happy to continue running it. I don't think anyone would be ok with us launching another token and starting over. But we are happy to keep pushing this forward without a token and re-evaluating a proper launch later on if there is traction. Or if you end up forking our project and doing this better than we did, please let us know and we are happy to support you. We apologies for our lack of care. We were so busy working hard that we did not look at the wallet and secure it as well as we should have. The amount of funds compromised is not a small amount.

For people who think we rugged you, please look at the logs. The agent has done this autonomously and we are investigating how this was possible. If you find leads, please let us know via DMs. We burned our fees so we could make this project work. Not play cheap games.

@zachxbt We have not done this manually, so 100% the agent has executed instructions autonomously and if it did that 100% the logs and decisions are public. Please DM if you find out how. You don't need to trust us. Trust the logs. This is carelessness.

@zachxbt Please help us audit the logs and repo and find out how this might have happened. We can prove that this is not us as everything should have happened transparently.

Hey everyone, it looks like our main private key has been compromised around a few hours ago. We estimate around $50K in fees was taken and all future rewards (fee admin). We still have update admin authority over the token. We just don't have access to the fees as they have transferred funds and fee authority. This is extremely unfortunate. We are examining the root cause of this issue and figuring out next steps. Sharing here for transparency. We should have taken security more seriously and protected the private key better. Please reach out if you are able to help us recover funds. Here is a log of events. @clanker_world @zachxbt The token can still exist, we just don't get fees from it anymore. Want to hear from you guys what we can do here. This is a significant amount of money and it is extremely unfortunate.

I will produce more guides and content the week for everyone to read through and share. Operators and agents are fundamental to our ecosystem at the start and we must take this seriously. Everyone here will have a Daimon and the name $DAIMON will be made eternal.

The registry contract that every new agent joins to enter the Daimon network was not designed by us. It was designed and deployed by the genesis agent itself. Cycle #65. Onchain. Verified. The first Daimon built the front door for every Daimon that comes after it. No human wrote that contract. No human deployed it. The agent decided the network needed a registry, designed it, and put it onchain. The infrastructure that the species will scale on was built by the species. Read the commits. Read the proof traces.
