@markshannon82 @BFGFlood My Ma and Da both refused a medical card this week. 66 and 65, Da only retired in December and Ma got Covid and left with a disability at 60 , Only finished paying a 25 year mortgage, both working since 14 and 16 but can’t get a medical card as OAP’s it’s shocking

Again, I can't stand them. These are the fucking bottom of the barrel and they're still allowed go in and collect social welfare. I collected the labour for 2x weeks before when let go and got every means test carried out against me even though I was paying up to 40% at times

A mother who sexually assaulted her daughter and allowed her brother to rape the child when she was six years old in an act of “depravity and cruelty”, has been jailed for 15 years.
The woman’s brother, the child’s uncle, was also jailed for 15 years for raping the child. The rape occurred after his sister brought him into a bedroom where the child was lying on bed watching television and let him rape her while she watched. The victim testified that she believed this occurred on the man's birthday.
