Government is supporting households and business with the cost of fuel and energy. Today we announced details on a €100 million scheme to support farmers, and a €120 million to support hauliers and the transport sector.

Details of the Road Transporters Support Scheme (RTSS) for hauliers, ‘own account’ road haulage operators and passenger operators, and the new Fuel Support Scheme for farmers, agricultural contractors and fishers were announced today. 🚛 bit.ly/4wgFDCf @agriculture_ie

Payment under the new Fuel Support Scheme will be made through a single application, with funding allocated on previous years (2025) fuel usage to ensure supports are targeted. Eligibility requirements will apply to ensure accountability. Scheme due to open in mid-May.
